Lolski's wiff aside, 55 and 3 were atrocious all game. By far the worst players on the ice. The Mites skating during intermission would of beaten them today.
The Hammer must be a Jordan Crawford situation if he can't get a sweater over those 2 stooges.
Even outside of the whiff, Wolski's go-to play seems to be the defensive or neutral zone turnover. The box score has him credited with 3 (high on the Caps), but I think that number is a little light. I'd rather see 7 defensemen dressed and Ovechkin double shifted than Wolski dressed next game.
Watched the highlights and it felt great to see him net a hattie. He looked so pumped about it out there and that's what always made me love Ovechkin - his excitement and passion. I hope he turns it around this season and can finish around 25-30 goals, maybe 60 points, but that will be hard after how far into the season they are, and who his support is.
