Yes it's a reach but, Simon is more than a football player. He is what you want a Steeler to be, never give up and a blue collar work ethic. He was born to be a Steeler. I've watched him for 4 years and he is a legend here. He has an aura unmatched by any. He is truly a special player.
I hate you.

I knew you'd go for him in the first round.

with the 35 pick in the 2013 NFL Draft, the Philadelphia Eagles select Eric Reid, Safety, from the Louisiana State University.

It is no secret that the Eagles secondary has been one of the worst in the NFL over the past 2 seasons surrendering 60 yd passes in the time span. Drafting a big athletic safety in Reid is just the beginning of this secondary overhaul.

With the 36th pick of the draft, the Detroit Lions are proud to select from the University of Florida, SS Matt Elam.

We feel like we got a first round talent with Elam and together with Milliner, the secondary should be improved drastically from their dreadful play last year which is huge considering the aerial attacks of division rivals Green Bay and Chicago. Delmas is the only good safety on the Lions and he's an injury prone free agent. There's a DE on the board who was very tempting to take but we liked Elam slighty better.

He was only on my radar because he's an Aggie, to be honest.

With the 37th pick in the 2013 NFL draft, the Cincinatti Bengals select Manti Te'o.

My picks are too mainstream for you guys, but they're too easy. Bengals really need quality linebackers and we've got (potentially) the best one out there. I don't know how this guy doesn't go in the first round especially since he was widely considered a top 5 pick earlier this year, but I'll gladly take him in the 2nd round.

Continuing the trend of unpopular picks here...

With the 38th overall pick in the 2013 NFL Draft, the Arizona Cardinals are proud to select:

Matt Barkley, QB, University of Southern California

Larry forced me to do it. Apparently NFC West rival Seattle are now on the clock.

I think so, too. Both Barkley and Te'o are steals in the second round, and cannot see either of them dropping out of the first day in April.

Quarterback is a huge need for Arizona, anyone who saw Skelton, Kolb or Lindley last season knows that. And with this pick, I feel they got the best QB in the whole draft with 38th pick, which obviously is a massive steal. (Sorry Theaub )

Out of the top ten the only teams I can see drafting a QB are Dallas and Minny and with Kaepernick's success, therefore I think Bakley will make it to the second.

Maybe, but with the Jags holding the 1st pick in the 2nd round, somebody might get antsy and move up.

That's exactly my point, I believe Cardinals, Jets or maybe even Bills would be looking to trade up to make sure they get him. Teams are often very aggressive when drafting quarterbacks (Ponder and Locker high back in -11, Newton first overall etc.).

I doubt the Jets will. While Sanchez sucks donkey balls, apart from Geno, there isn't a clear QB upgrade. And considering next years potential stacked QB class, drafting a guy like Barkley makes no sense.

Also Greg Cosell ripped Barkley to shreds from looking at film.

As 2nd rounders, I think him and Te'o are exactly where they are supposed to be. (especially Te'o)

Oh yeah, forgot the USC factor with the Jets. That's not going to happen then...

The following sequence won't be happening, because world's biggest Sanchez-lover Rex is still in charge, but they would need to draft a QB. Then, make that QB compete at training camp with their notorious current starter and McElroy, and maybe even bring up a veteran free agent like Vince Young to stir up the pot.

Rams trade #56 (24th overall in the 2nd round) to the Miami Dolphins for picks #79 (15th overall pick in the 3rd round) and #84 (20th overall pick in the 3rd round).

I confirm

A few guys that the Dolphins had on big board have fallen and I wanted to get back into 2nd to snatch one of them up

The Vikings won't draft a QB until the 4th round at the earliest, if at all. They're dead set on giving Ponder that third year of evaluation. Spielman has been a broken record saying "it takes 3 years to evaluate a QB."

The Seattle Seahawks select Tank Carradine, DE, Florida St.

A likely first rounder if not for missing workouts due to injury, Cornellius is our insurance policy in the event that Chris Clemmons is unable to return to form--or just to comPete with Clemmons outright.

^^ ****. I was hoping he'd drop. Great pick. The guy is possibly my favorite pass rusher in this draft class. Great hand usage, multiple pass rush moves, good athleticism. Well rounded too.

If he stayed healthy, I'd bet he would be in conversation for a top-15 pick. Great pick again.
