Thanks, I had no clue about the FX games, or the HD, I just saw Major League Baseball and checked who was playing.

Didn't know the HD channel, but it's on 95 too (at least for me).

I'm probably alone here but I love watching games on YES. That theme they play after innings just feels like baseball.

Hopefully Rasmus didn't hurt his shoulder too badly, all I want is a healthy opening day line-up.

Happ looking sharp. Touching 92 for a lefty is solid.

His slider looks nastyyy. For people who were not watching I cannot stress how good that slider was looking.

I think Rogers Anyplace TV streams live Jays games, I'm not sure if that's the same as the demand site you're referring to.

Why is Cecil wearing 26? Did he decide to wear Adam Lind's clothes today? How cute.

My guess would be if they are streaming preseason games, it would only be the Sportsnet-produced games and not the games on FX which are the opposition's broadcast.

yeah, it was wicked looking today.

So today the pitchers show up and it's the offence that completely sucks. 20-142 season coming up. That's how this works, right?

Has the new "up close" sportsnet feature already been shown? It's supposed to focus on the Dominican influence on the jays and baseball in general.

Haven't seen it yet, but I know that the regional sportsnets sometimes have different schedules for that stuff, so maybe it just hasn't made it onto Pacific yet.

EDIT: Looked ahead on my guide. Any Up Close airing over the next couple weeks appears to be a repeat (Gibbons or Dickey or Winter Tour). There's airings on March 10 and 11 that don't have any program info though.

I really hate that the WBC is right smack in the middle of ST. It makes me nervous about guys getting hurt, particularly pitchers. Should I be worried? It would be bug me more, for some reason, if let's say Dickey gets hurt while pitching for the USA than if he gotten hurt during a regular ST game.

meh, I wouldn't worry. Guys take it seriously, but it's still likely that most of the guys playing from MLB are not going to go balls-out 110% like they would during an actual MLB game. If someone gets hurt, it's just as likely they'd have gotten hurt in spring training too. Besides, if things work the way I think they do, the Jays would get a big fat insurance payout if one of our guys got hurt. So maybe they could reinvest some of the money saved via the insurance payout into another roster move? (sorta)

So Jeff Blair said the Jays had a deal agreed upon for Jake Peavy earlier in the offseason but the White sox pulled the plug at the last minute.

1) I don't trust Jeff Blair. There's just something about him I don't like.

2) Thank god. Peavy's had like 1 good year in the last 5. He's just as likely to go back to sucking like he has since his last year in San Diego. Or blow up and get hurt again (there are some serious problems in his delivery)
