Price was a funnel that game. He played that OT winner like he was just praying it would hit him.

He froze up. Not really much he could do other than make himself big and hope the shooter misses his spot.

In other news, I forgot just how well spoken Kevin Weekes is. He's one of the best in the biz right now imo.

On to cheering for the Kings. Tom Sestito makes his Canucks debut tonight, the loser will fit right in with that squad.

I can imagine some illicit substances would make this FlexAble Hose commercial absolutely fascinating.

How in the world did Price let 7 goals behind him? His save percentage has to suck.

One thing seems certain Pens still don't have much of a defense, and the Habs defense couldn't handle the Pens offense.

Speaking of Stoll-I hate it when NBC covers the game, because Doc et al keep calling him Jared. And a few times they say "Jared Staal" which has to suck of you are Stoll.

Bieska gets called for interference, Hughson replies "he was just finishing his check".

Oh how I missed this idiot.

No they don't. they have Sestito (who will fight anyone) and a bunch of spot pickers.

Yeah but when they fight they aren't terrible. Better then those finesse 4th lines they used to roll.

Nice fight by Sestito, throwing punches before Nolan even had his gloves off. Classy.

Weise fights but sucks at it. Volpatti is gone. Kassian is pretty tough and Sestito can fight. Bieksa does well with the gloves off but really picks his spots.

True.

Don Cherry playing it up for the CBC/Vancouver based crowd saying he thinks Bieksa/Hamhuis should be a set pairing for Team Canada at the Olympics.

Keith - Doughty
Letang - Weber
Girardi - Pietrangelo

HM: Staal

Who do you remove to put those two out there? Cherry can be such a donkey sometimes.

Don't even get me going on Ron McLean, who at every opportunity trumpets Alex Burrows for the Olympic team. That is even more hilarious than the Hamhuis/Bieksa thing.

Going back to last year's playoffs and continuing to this year I'm not that impressed with Pittsburgh. Obviously they have 4 guys that are amazingly talented but beyond that I don't see that much quality. I guess it's the "curse" that comes with having superstars in the cap system. The team seems to turn the puck over a lot and have a lot of mental breakdowns.

The CBC is doing a full lap dog too the Canuck fans right now. They do this a lot lately because they were so "tough on them" in 2011.

Cherry and McLean should be embarrassed for running that fluff piece on Kadri tonight when the Leafs weren't even playing. Other than talking about Crosby for a bit I don't think they even talked about the game that they were doing the intermission for.

He is trying to make up for the bashing he gave him a few years ago after the Auger incident and calling him out for diving.

Believe me, you will hear Ron McLean trumpet Burrows for Sochi a few times in the next year, he does it every chance he can. If Burrows is in the discussion, Brad Marchand should be a ****ing LOCK for 2014, he is not.
