Without looking I know what you mean. I saw him do that, so a week later a ten-year-old EverettMike used it in a game successfully and dropped all the jaws to the floor.

I dont like this slowing down momentum on a P.S. I didn't like how Kane scored that goal. I know I'm in the minority, but just seems bush league.

Rob Tallas is the backup goalie for Florida Panthers tonight.

Rookie.

They called up a kid from the minors. He got there, but his pads didn't, so Tallas sitting on the bench til they get there.

Most Canadians knows that as the "Forsberg"...the move he used in the '94 Olympics to beat/help beat Canada.

I won't argue with that stat , the Forseber in 94 but those Canadians and elder Bruin fans watched Rosy do it when he played for the Bruins for three years , ending in 93 soooooooo....

Its' Rosy's move

Forsberg can **** himself

Rosy 100% did it before Forsberg did in 94.

May even have done it in his 4 goal game, but I'm not positive.

I came in down the right side getting a breakaway, cut across and did it. One of the two prettiest goals I ever scored. I was a goal scorer, but I specialized in ugly ones usually.

Doesn't florida have 5 goalies on the roster?

Rob Tallas? They are better off putting a traffic cone in the middle of the net.

I have to jump in on the bolded, since it's a pet peeve of mine...

The Islanders do not "have so much history" at all IMO. They have one incredible 4-year stretch (5 if you count the year they lost to the NHL's next dynasty in Edmonton). Outside of that they have generally been a joke, a doormat, or both.

I've noticed a lot of people talk about the Isles like this I just do not get it. The Original Six has history. The Islanders caught lightning in a bottle.

Now I agree that they are woefully mismanaged, and have been for the majority of their existence, thus leading to my larger point. They don't deserve that, and they don't need to move from New York, but they aren't some franchise that deserves historical reverence.

I truly mean no offense to Isles fans, but that's JMO.

I've lamented the B's and Hawks not meeting in the Finals during the late 80's or early 90's. It would have been classic, the old Garden and the old Stadium, Bourque and Neely vs. Chelios and Roenick. Mark Messier often had something to say about that, one game in particular at the Stadium in 1990 helping the Oilers even a series and eventually beat Chicago. You know the rest.
