Montreal, Ottawa and Toronto have all won 12 games and are solid in the top 8.

The Northeast is shaping up as the best division in the East.

I would love to face them in the playoffs, they would be an easy prey. In fact every team in the east should be an easy prey, anything less than the SC finals this year would be a disappointment.

You know I have to say,I thought Bruins were shortchanged on their schedule alot. They have to play so many games leading up to playoffs in short time that you just know the injuries will come. Then i looked at Oilers going out on a 10 games in 19 days vs some tough teams and not home again till like March 17th,Yet calgary in same province does not have to do that,The NHL really have some serious boneheads running things. And if that is computer generated its time to give that a kick.

Chippy game between the Leafs and Flyers so far. Lot of yapping.

I saw it mentioned that when Chia took in the Flyers game that Rinaldo could be a target. I wouldn't mind that. Kid's got an edge, becomes our 2nd best hitter immediately, and can scrap with a lot of guys.

Solid fight between Tye McGinn and Mike Brown just now too. Brown had been trying to get anyone to go. Couldn't get Simmonds or Rinaldo to go.
I know he's seen as a punk but I've liked him ever since Lucic got suspended (was it suspended or just thrown out of the game?) for boarded him.

After the game Rinaldo was answering press questions and was asked about the hit and I forget exactly what he said but he didn't have anything bad at all to say about Lucic. Something like "That's just hockey. Sometimes it's rough out there. It happens. He's just trying to do his job". --argh, I wish I could remember exactly what he said because it make me respect him a lot. Pretty much the exact opposite reaction that Miller had.

Here's the hit I'm referring to and yes, Lucic got a 5 minute major and a game misconduct and was suspended for 1 game for this:

Honestly with the current play-off teams, only Pittsburgh should pose any type of problem, and their D sucks. If a healthy Bruins team doesn't make the Cup this year, vs these teams, it would be a huge disappointment.

Agree. I've never seen the East this weak. Our conference to lose.

2 years ago when we won the Cup. East was wide open after Crosby and Malkin's injury

The pens are a powerplay team, take that away and they shouldn't be too hard to beat, similar to vancouver.

Yea Pittsburgh seems to turn the puck over a lot and their defense isn't great.

The Devils aren't playing very well right now but they could get to the Conference Finals again.

Huge effort from Ben Bishop last night; he faced almost 50 shots. Division rival or not, I'm actually pulling for them. I think the rug will come out from under them at some point, but geeze, how can you not cheer for the Sens right now?

Last yr it took a comeback of great proportions to come back and beat habs.I mean had win 2 in MTL to even that series. And who had the big one there? Ryder that is correct in Overtime.I do not want to face them unless Bruins add help.I think you underestimate the problems that their speed gives Bruins,Tonite a fast team like Islanders had alot breaks too as an example.

"van Massenhoven, one of the most respected officials in the National Hockey League." - Said by Olczyk during the Philly/Washington broadcast.

Commence projectile vomiting.

Roo and Simmonds get Philly up quick and early 2-0.
