Bradley, 34, was charged on Thursday with 13 misdemeanor counts of assault with a deadly weapon, vandalism and dissuading a witness from making a report.
In addition to jail time, Bradley could face up to $13,000 in fines and restitution if convicted.
He remained free pending a scheduled Jan. 24 arraignment.
Prosecutors contend that Bradley threatened and attacked his wife five times in 2011 and 2012. He was twice arrested at the home in 2011.
"During one incident in November 2012, Bradley allegedly pushed his wife against a kitchen wall and choked her with both hands after she requested that he stop smoking marijuana in front of their children and requested that his friends leave her San Fernando Valley home," said a statement from the city attorney's office.
Prosecutors contend that during other confrontations, Bradley kicked his wife in the ribs, approached her with a baseball bat and threatened her with a knife while telling her: "You'll be dead b---- before you divorce me."
"My client denies it," said Bradley's attorney, Harland Braun. "I've talked to him already. He said, 'She's making up stories. I don't know what she's talking about.' "
Had no idea he had a history with cancer.... What kind? Few links I see about it don't specify.
Scott had an emergency appendectomy in Pittsburgh after becoming ill while covering the Pittsburgh Steelers–Miami Dolphins Monday Night Football game on November 26, 2007. The surgery also discovered a malignancy that required an additional surgery to remove possibly cancerous tissue. He returned a month later and continued on-air broadcasting during recommended preventive chemotherapy. ESPN President George Bodenheimer said "Stuart is approaching this fight with the same passion and energy we see on air... He knows he has our full support and we look forward to the day where this is all behind him."
In 2011, it was revealed that Scott was again battling cancer. The disease entered remission in early 2012, but Scott was again diagnosed with cancer on January 14, 2013.
That's so deranged. Who knew the guy was a psychopath? I don't want the Bears to have anything to do with this guy. He should really put football on hold and enter a facility. I hope NFL teams advise him to do so but I highly doubt it. They'll just see him as a value pick like Ray said.
I am calling my friends and everyone. This is going to hit national news. I heard about this about an hour ago and was going to post about it here. Glad I am not the one to post it in case the hoax story is ironically a hoax.
That's possible too, it is deadspin we are talking about. Either they go down the crapper or T'eo does. We're talking about cancer, fake deaths, nothing to joke about. One of them should be wiped off the face of the Earth for all practical purposes within the coming days.
