How can Lucic be the toughest guy in the league?

Not only did he get tooled, but he folded and he hid behind the refs.

Yeah what a complete wuss for going 40 seconds against a guy who's sole reason for playing is to punch people in the face!!

Ask his peers, you know, the actual NHL players, that voted him as the toughest in the league.

Lucic is the toughest all around player in the league. Might not be the best fighter though

This is dumb. Orr is the top fighter in the NHL. Lucic is the toughest player in the NHL. Those are 2 very different things.

He's been pretty timid against the Sabres this season.

Lol troll thread. That fight is from 3 yrs ago. I would have to say that lucic is def the toughest skilled player in the NHL. I would even say that Neil is the toughest guy in the NHL, guy can take a punch like no ones business and is always smiling when he fights the heavies win or loss.

LOL@troll thread.

Every player loses a fight from time to time. Orr has probably the most devastating punch in hockey. No shame in Lucic for going out on his feet after a good fight, which is a rarity because usually when Orr lands a shot, the other guy is down. He was done; It's no different then calling for the ref to signal that the fight is over, which happens more often then people realize.

If this is all the OP has to go on, then he/she needs to work on his trolling attempts.

Lucic is the toughest player who actually plays. Fighters like Shelley, Orr, Godard, Scott, etc. shouldn't even be in the conversation they play a couple minutes a game and fight each other.

This is an old thread topic - appears to be not much more than troll/infraction bait.

Maybe Lucic has been slow against Buffalo this season. Hard to tell. Buffalo is irrelevant to pretty much anything other than the lottery draft right now so the games aren't that interesting to watch.

Hell, Im a Habs fan and I would love to have a guy like Lucic on our team. Posting 1 fight he lost 2 years ago means nothing, so get over it. He has won way more fights than he has lost, AND he is actually productive.

Yup, Colton Orr is the toughest guy in the league...for about 5 minutes a game.

Does that even count????

Lucic is a really good boxer so he is pretty dangerous in a fight even against strong dudes I can see why NHL players would vote that.
