whats the best road record a non play off team has ever had

because i think the islanders might be challenging it this season

2-7 at home but 6-3-1 on the road

it's not that hard to go on the NHL standings and switch from year to year and figure it out you know? Instead you had to make a thread about it then 10 mins later ask everyone why no one is answering...

This and the fact the islanders are only 2 points out of the playoffs right now doesn't mean they'll miss the playoffs entirely
