Yessir! 2-0 in the first on goals by Steckel and Kinasewich. Nice start to what's likely to be a rough and tumble game. The later periods are going to be interesting.

What the hell happened at the end there? Did Hartford just come out and drop with every Monarch on the ice?

That is what is sounded like. This is some of what I heard.
Gillies is an idiot according to Cail. He doesnt know when to quit. He sucker punched Welch. Somebody jumped on Kanko but I dont know who. It was said that HFD uses this tactic when the games in which they play get out of hand.
Monarchs 114 PIM and Hartford 118 PIM according to Cail.
The Monarchs won the season series with Hartford.
Cammalleri had a 3 point night and was named the number one star for the game. He is tailing in the scoring race by 4 points. Spezza has 2 games left while Cammalleri has 3.

That didn't sound right at first because of the poor start the Monarchs got off to in the series, but it's actually true. Manchester took 10 points of 16 against Hartford ( 4-2-2-0 ) while Hartford only took 9 ( 4-3-0-1 ).

What is rule 56(g). Also the box for the game was changed it said that Smyth was fighting off the ice. I think one of the Monarchs was fighting from the bench but I am unsure since I didnt see it. I wonder about possible suspensions.

yeah i guess the Pack fans have been crying about the officiating on the message boards. oh well. sour grapes i guess. Im just glad we won the game. thats all that matters to me. all that extra caricular stuff, the poor officiating. Its not like Harford has ever benifited from the poor officials before, especially in games more important then tonite. oh say back in season 1?

yeah the box score at the ahl site still lists Cammalleri as having 1 goal and 1 assist. Brown 1 goal, 2 assists.
