And what Crosby has done to Kunitz, 3rd scorer in the league!!!
People dislike Crosby because he acted like a brat for his first couple of years and doubled that by rubbing it everyone's face. But he's grown up a bit, and he's the best. Just a ****ing awesome player.

If anyone dislikes Malkin, it's probably lame good old boy NHL dinosaurs who are against Russian players succeeding in their league of precious hard workin canadian kids like Don Cherry.

FLA's Stephen Weiss is shut down for the rest of the year, will require surgery for an ongoing wrist problem.

Wow, FLA can't even trade him.

FLA will have one of Jones, MacKinnon and Drouin. Hopefully re-alignment fails.

Kulikov and Weaver are also out a month. Sheesh.

That's rough for Florida and Weiss. I hope he goes to a good team that's not the Leafs, I've always liked him.

Very possible.

The rest of Quebecers would move down to Florida to watch that.

And the price of the tickets is way more affordable than at the Bell Centre.

Waivers: Boychuk awarded to NSH from PIT. Pit places Kostopoulos and Wsh places Hamrlik on Waivers.

Didn't watch too many Caps games. Was he really that bad? How much would he cost anyways?

Pretty sure the delay-of-game penalty calls against us have decreased from a good 90% after Hamrlik left Montreal. Worst backhand I ever saw a d-man having.

Perfect guy for our fourth line..he bangs and is a total team first guy.
Perfect cheap pick up for playoffs,a characters player.

Yes to Tom Kostopoulos. Probably the nicest player in the NHL right now.

Hand him #6, give him the "A" on his jersey and watch him bring 100% every night

Yeah...because he tried and put forth his all.

but losing is still losing and right now we need a "real" fighter....not a punching bag.

but if it's to replace Moen/Armstrong, then sure...but he's not our answer to helping us against Toronto/Boston in the fighting department

I love Tom Nonstoppoulos. But I'm not sure he's the type of player we currently need. We need either top trio scoring with size (Bourque's absence is being felt, having one more like him wouldn't hurt) or a mid pairing puck moving D (Even though Kaberle's been playing well since he came back, I'd still rather get rid of his contract, although when Diaz comes back...). If we're going to replace a player at this point, it's going to have to be through trades, not by picking up bottom trio/pairing players through waivers. I guess we could trade, for example's sake, Armstrong for a pick and pick up Kostopoulos.

Bring Kostopoulos and Parros and then we could have a Greek line.
Stamkos could also be a good addition to the line
