Time to lose again. We probably won't have Timonen. We'll have a D that might be worse than the Avs.

The good thing is we are still only two points out of a playoff spot in the early season. Now bad things are we are 3 points out of worst team in the league(pending the results of Kings/BJ's) also have played the most game after this one at 16. We also probably won't have Kimmo. Starting to become a little worried with the team now, might be one of those years.
Seth JONES!

Bryz is guaranteed a Shutout tomorrow. I swapped him for Carey on one of my fantasy teams!

Somehow this team is lacking the passion and determination that made the difference for long stretches last year when they would simply stick to the game plan and force their will on the opposition to turn things around, no matter they were trailing by 1, 2 or even 3 goals early in the game.
I'm almost at a point where I don't even care anymore as soon as things start getting ugly and that is because the players themselves don't seem to care
I don't know what to expect from this game...may go one way or the other.

Is there a worse team in the league than us when it comes to...
1) starting a period?
2) playing a full 60 minutes?
I've never seen a team give up so many early period goals. How many were there last night? Two goals within the first minute of the 1st and 2nd period?
The full game effort is a huge concern too and a trend that's been the norm for awhile now. We completely dominated NJ in the 1st period and then didn't even show up in the 2nd or 3rd

Remember last year also when it seemed like Bryz would allow a goal on the first shot of the game almost regularly? It's crazy how this team always gets off to poor starts.

actually that may be lucky for you guys as back-ups, for some reason, tend to have career games against us

I'm ok with sucking for another 30 games to get Jones. unfortunately the flyers won't be the suckiest team so we won't get jones. that is what bothers me
if the flyers are really bad and end up with a top 5 pick i think homer needs to trade up to get jones. obviously there are plenty of quality players available but not one that fills a need quite like jones does.

even if they were the worst team in the league, with out luck some other team would win the lottery and pick 1st

^ MTL's reserve netminder is Robert Mayer

--------------------------
The scheduled Flyers' morning skate has been canceled.
--------------------------
No word yet on the Flyers' goalie for tonight. It is possible Boucher could start considering Monday's game (holiday) is in the afternoon.

Couturier on the 4th line and Briere playing with knunle and fedotenko is just rediculous. Is there are reason for this that I missed? Just move Couts up with Briere and knuble

Do not like our chances tonight, it just seems our defensive woes and lack of drive is going to hurt us against the Canadiens.
