Had to do a double-take there...

Preds scored a goal?

Slow start, but nice to grab the first goal.

Great play by Clune. Thank God Smith buried it.

Need a little more out of the other lines. I've noticed Wilson make some decent plays. Legwand is doing his best impression of The Invisible Man out there.

Defense could be better, but it isn't awful so far.

Rich Clune with good positioning and a great QUICK pass. Smith goes to the area we've begged them to go. Good play all around.

This makeshift line of SK-Smith-Clune has been surprisingly effective. Clune especially has been impressing me lately

Count me in the group of "Why would you ever allow a penalized team to have a free throw down the ice?"

Yes.
I'm just listening at this point. He's not too bad.
I don't get NBCS so I've tuned to the Sports Mix station.
It's hard to see the players when they're only an inch tall.

I don't watch the Preds much but Roman Josi looks like he's going to be really good.

So Legwand back on PP, Wilson off? Smith looks good! Not sure why Trotz would not have his leading scorer out on either PP.

You might as well Skate Klune-Smith-SK more than any line containing Fisher or Legwand. Wilson Smith SK might even be a better makeshift "why not" line.

I'm skating these lines in the 2nd period.

Smith-Wilson-SK
Erat-Spaling-Horny
Borque-Leggy-Klune
Halischuk-Fisher-Yip

Not sure if anyone here listens to 104.5 very much, but they have a 60 second segment . I think it's called Sports minute, but not the one with Boomer. Whatever rock music they play in the background, I need badly for poker/driving music.
