That I actually got to watch, I would say Lumme. Hat tip to Ohlund.

I didn't see the option for Rome so I voted Ohlund.

Lumme belongs on this list, rook, although I'd put Ohlund ahead of him.

Lumme should at least be an option. In fact, he could very well challenge for best Canuck defenseman of all time; it's him and Ohlund for me. Snepts should be on the list as well.

I'd vote for Lidster or Ohlund personally.

Paul Reinhart and Jeff Brown were great in short stints. Jyrki Lumme was not as great, but very good, over a period of some years

No Kearns. **{shudder}}

Murzyn should be no where near this list either, for that matter.

Lidster, Babych, McCarthy and Lanz should at least make the long list.

Reinhart was the best defenceman I ever saw wear a Canucks uniform. Unfortunately, he didn't last long enough.

Ohlund got my vote. Man, with 2 working eyes, he could really have been something.

Reinhart was probably the best defenceman to play for the Canucks but I don't think he was here long enough to make a real case to be the best evar. My money's still on Ohlund but I'm biased, he's my favourite player.

incidentally, if any of you want to waste 20 minutes, try this on for size: http://www.sporcle.com/games/kmad/al...cks-defensemen

(quiz asking for the name of every defenseman who's ever played a RS game for the canucks, in 20 minutes)

Lumme. Ohlund was another Canuck that was affected by an eye injury. Otherwise, he'd be the clear cut number 1 all-time.
