I think Kitchener will win the series, but I also think it will be very close. Erie has several elite forwards with O'Marra, Blunden, and Platt but is lacking defensively. That is where Kitchener's strength is. They have four top notch defensemen including Kindl, Lashoff, and Andre Benoit. Up front they have one of the OHL's best in Mike Richards and also have the experience of a Memorial Cup victory a few years ago. I think the Rangers could do a lot of damage this year, especially if Turple gets hot.

I can't believe I'll be cheering for the Rangers. But one, Erie are the dirtyiest bunch of *@#%* in the league and two I don't see Keefe or Clarkson going out against London without a blaze of glory.

Kitchener would no doubt be exciting in the 4 games they'd get against London.

Isn't Blunden gonna be suspended for the next 4 games??? Thats gonna hurt Erie realy bad. Unless the guys can find some way to rally around it and play as a solid unit which may surprise the Rangers.

I have no idea, but I'll be rooting for Erie (sorry Charlie_Girl). The quicker the Rangers are out, the more he plays for the Phantoms.

That would be fantastic. They're down 2-1 and unless Richards rolls over this series goes to Kitchener.

This series could get really interesting..... Kitchener's number one goalie was injured in last night's game - no one is saying how bad it is. If Turple can't play, you might just get your wish JFF!

Has Pfligler dissappeared yet? I swear he's been shrinking all season... Maybe Packwood?

Turple is listed as day-to-day (gee, what a surprise in playoffs). My guess is that Pfligler will get the start tonight, with Packwood as backup. *shudder* Pfligler is a common cause of ulcers in Rangers fans. He's pretty small (5'8"), and looks even smaller when you're used to seeing 6'6" Turple in net.

To continue the trend this year in Kitchener, Packwood has an almost healed broken finger, but should be able to play if he's called upon.

Wow....... Kitchener scores 2 goals in the last 4 minutes of the game to tie it up, and then wins it in OT on a Clarkson goal!! The series is tied up and it's a whole new game.

Sorry JFF...... you might just have to wait a little while longer to see Richards in Philly!

Really? That's great to hear! I could only listen to the first period and a half on the radio.

Did I hear right? Greene tossed Fraser's helmet, possibly into the stands?

Kitchener wins game 5 by a score of 5-2.

Three stars are as follows
1. KIT Eric Pfligler
2. KIT Michael Richards
3. KIT Kevin Henderson

Pfligler made 42 saves . Hopefully Kitchener can win tomorow and move on.

Does Erie have any defense, before tonights game Disher was averaging 47 saves a game. That is disgusting.
