Someone suggested on the trade board that the Sharks go after Iginla. That would TOTALLY be a DW move.

Iginla is the last player I want on this team.

Edit: Autocorrect turned 'Iginla' into 'Iguana'.

Would like to have an iguana on the team. I bet they are speedy skaters.

Is it sad that I thought of a burrito instead of the animal?

I'd trade Douglas Murray for Burritos.

Lol. I am guessing that, 'Iguana' is a burrito from some store down in California?

But he can't wear 12 so he'll deny the trade.

Iginla doesn't have a cup ring, so I doubt it.

I'd take Iginla for free. I mean, I'd accept his contract. We get him and Calgary gets the cap space/cash savings.

Though I guess I wouldn't be against something like Clowe + Murray for him.

Again, I do not think this is an issue with the personnel. The team is more than talented enough to win a stanley cup. They are missing something. Chemistry, confidence, strategy; they are missing something.

i saw a tweet from a San Jose media guy( i think) about Bruins scouts being at tonights game and possibly scouting Ryane Clowe. just wondering what the sharks might potentially want from the Bruins if Clowe was traded to Boston?

Of course you would. Boston would never touch it.

Demers looked like Scott Neidermeyer on the ice last night. He is gonna be a really good player I think. Trading him would be a huge mistake. HUGE MISTAKE!

Sharks staff is probably benching Demers to stunt development and limit stats in case of any pending salary arbitration. They'll resign him at $1.5 million for 3 years, then take the reins off.

Cool, let another team love him and take him off our hands.

Hockey fans have always loved the players who can score and play tough guy ..Including myself. However, the game has changed a lot and skating ability and puck handling/puck management seem like the most important attribute.

It would great if we could get some speed and toughness back for Clowe but that's obviously a pipe dream. I do think this team lacks chemistry though. Too many pass first guys and perimeter players. Michael Ryder might have looked nice on this team and he was available for pretty cheap.

He was available for cheap to Montreal, a team in another conference. The asking price would have been significantly higher if they traded him within the division. Same thing goes for Loktionov who was traded to the Devils for like a 5th (not that the Sharks needed Loktionov).

Do they really need another power forward? That'd give them Clowe, Lucic, and Horton.

And Marchand. That would be the grittiest group of wingers.

Clearly, they don't need that Seguin fellow. Not gritty enough.

for the third line we do. we need a guy with size on that line that is good along the boards. that line hasn't been able to posses the puck at all. and also being able to roll Lucic, Horton, Marchand and Clowe against the habs and sabres would be a dream come true
