Well, Wilson isn't even close to moving. I doubt Smith or Borque would move either. But you have to consider that Shea Weber said he didn't want to play for a rebuilding team, so Nashville might be desperate to add a proven scorer.

Not a trade but would the Sharks try to sign Arnott?

Handzus 2.0, but worse defensively. No thanks.

I think it'll be Wingels.
I watched the video on TSN and got the impression he meant a 1st or 2 seconds, a prospect player and possibly another component. So the prospect went along with the pick(s.) In any case, that's exactly the kind of trade that needs to be made. It's a move made with the future in mind, and given Clowe's UFA status and declining production, if you can get that from someone, you take it and run.

Just trade Clowe to the highest bidder and be done with it. Same with Murray. I don't care what they get for them. The team is better off without them.

I saw the same thing on nhl network, but someone would be insane to trade a 1st rounder for Clowe.

How is that possible? Did anyone see Handzus on ROR last game?

If Paul Gaustad earns a team a 1st, Clowe should definitely be getting that in return.

There's no way Clowe is worth any of that, but I would gladly eat crow if DW pulls that off.

If Gaustad could get a 1st, Murray can get a 1st.

If Paul Gaustad is making $3.25M, Clowe's new salary should be $6M.

"[The Sharks] are not shopping Clowe, they are listening to interest," said Dreger. "This is a big ticket type of trade; you're talking about a first round draft pick or two seconds, you're talking about a prospect player, and maybe another component as well just to get the Sharks listening."

There is no way NSH moves Smith or especially Wilson for Clowe IMO. Those guys are too valuable for that particular team. I think Clowe is not a NSH style of player. They all use speed to get into defensive position and play well on the transition. Can't teach speed

Well obviously not Wilson, but Smith's having a lot of trouble putting up points, so maybe we could steal him away.

Ahh I didn't know that. I would do that trade. I can't see NSH doing that trade though. Poille is a good GM. He only overpaid on Gaustad to try and keep Suter.
I'm wondering what team can use Murray. IMO he is slow but is still a decent 4 on a lot of teams

The thinking is, he basically promised Weber that the Preds wouldn't rebuild, so maybe he'd desperate to get a proven scorer.

I know, wishful thinking.

Martin Havlat for Craig Smith and Bourque. Reunited with his buddy Mike Underwood.

Problem is players like Smith and Bourque would suck on our team. They'll become 4th liners.

Havlat was a 4th liner so we double our 4th line depth in one move.
