Very impressive showing from young McGinn..

Looked great early on, but like every fighter will, he got tagged by a big shot at the end that gives Brownie the W.

Even though he's a Flyer, I'm really liking this McGinn kid.

Somehow the flyers always find guys like this. Hes a 1990 and hes doing pretty well in all his fights, in 4 years he'll be one of the better middleweights out there. I dont know how the flyers always find these tough guys

18 or 19. It's nice. We're gaining a lot of toughness and physicality recently.

Both fighters end up injured after this fight. Mcginn with the fractured orbital bone and Brown with a lower body injury.

He uses the same strategy as me...put your head down, throw straights and pray the other guy doesn't connect with an uppercut. Beats the hell outta trying to Colton Orr it.

And when you say Colton Orr it, you mean punch like an Atom bomb? Because I still haven't got that one down yet.

Orr is possibly the highest risk taking fighter in the NHL, thats what I meant. He throws bombs yes, but he basically sticks his chin out. Its gotten him concussed before. All or nothing fighter.

McGinn was in an awkward spot, because Brown went down and McGinn stopped. If McGinn kept punching, I'd still be deleting and merging threads.
This is what I saw... Looked like McGinn has Brown down and out then let him up, Brown then hammered him. Rookie mistake.. But then again if he kept throwing punches people would call for his head.

Yup McGinn could learn a lesson or two from brown or Orr in lifting your opponent back to his feet and keep pounding him more

Seems in every fight brown just puts his head down and throws em. Surlrised somebody taller hasnt uppercutted him and taken his head off yet. Hes a good one though for his size, McGinn didnt fare that bad here though.
