A day in Vienna is not nearly enough. You'll want to go back.

I did a Prague, Bratislava, and Vienna trip just over a year ago. I enjoyed it.

"Ahoy" is the casual greeting in Czech.

Edit: I forget exactly how many steps it is, but climbing the bell tower in the castle cathedral gives a nice view of the city.

Ive been to prague 3 time. Cheap beer, a lot of attractive woman, very cool city to walk around, lots of casinos and strip clubs. Make sure you get a chance to walk charles bridge its a pretty sweet view/experience and head over to prague castle for an even better view.

Also keep your wallet in your front pocket and do not have it visable. Also do not spit, locals take it for a sign that you want to fight.

haha I've never heard about this until now

But yea, expect cheap beer, good (though not that healthy) food and attractive women. Prague is a nice city, but I think Cesky Krumlov is even better place to visit.

I got a bunch of travel questions before I leave tomorrow.

1. How cold is Prague in February?

2. Is there winter over there right now? Lots of snow?

3. How bad is the crime there?

4. Is Prague a dangerous city?

5. How can I see some Czech hockey league games?

6. Is it true Czech women are really beautiful? or easy?

7. Where can I get Czech money?

8. Whats Czech food like?

9. Whats Czech beer like?

10. How are Prague nightclubs? or nightlife in general?

11. Is it true Czechs are big drinkers?

thats what I got now for questions

If you take a cab, make sure your cab driver agrees or quotes you on the fare (negotiable) before you get in the cab.

Airport is a good distance from Prague so most take the airport shuttle. Cab/limo ride is much more.

Some or many places do not take credit cards, cash only. Be sure to confirm before you sit down for a meal. Hotel food is usually not recommended. Go where the locals go. If its crowded, its probably good.

If you're going there with friends, expect a lot of beer and strippers.

I heard Swedish girls are easy.

Also, I heard that people are very open about sex in Europe. Like to the point where they will thank you in front of everyone and say that it was nice having sex with you, the next day.

Seems like some things you should've figured out prior to the day before you leave. I've never been so I can't help.

Especially if he meets a French woman on a train and forgets to ask for her contact details.

1. How cold is Prague in February?
Around 0 degree Celsius on average.

2. Is there winter over there right now? Lots of snow?
Yes, it's winter. No, there is not (ever) a lot of snow in Prague.

3. How bad is the crime there?
Pay attention to your wallet when you're on the subway or in crowded places. Otherwise it's a safe city.

4. Is Prague a dangerous city?
No.

5. How can I see some Czech hockey league games?
Buy tickets and go to either Sparta's or Slavia's arena. Or watch TV program CT2 or CT4 Sport (free).

6. Is it true Czech women are really beautiful? or easy?
Some of them are beautiful. Some are easy.

7. Where can I get Czech money?
At the exchange office.

8. Whats Czech food like?
Tasty, heavy, not very healthy.

9. Whats Czech beer like?
Cheap and delicious.

10. How are Prague nightclubs? or nightlife in general?
Fun, if you have the coin.

11. Is it true Czechs are big drinkers?
Yes.

Not sure what it's like in winter but the St. Charles Bridge is cool to wander around on. Very touristy, yes, but there are some pretty neat things you'll run into. We saw a guy with a mechanical marionette that was dancing around to music. Just really cool. You can get some nice artwork too. I got a beautiful painting of one of the cathedrals in the area (don't recall which one).

Prague is awesome. Would go back anytime. We also spent a few days in a small village about an hour away called Trebic. Equally beautiful. Would recommend.

Exchange office? Bah, just pull crowns out of an ATM. Unless he has some unusual debit/credit card, he should be able to.

Isn't the exchange rate at ATMs pretty bad in most cases?
