Vengeance didnt appear in 2012 either so whatever. Payback is a terrible name. Backlash is better.

I might have to get tickets to Raw for the 25th then. I don't think I've experienced Taker's entrance in person.

I don't see why they can't get Taker, HHH, and maybe Lesnar to be on the rest of the Raws before Wrestlemania. They don't have anything else going on, unlike The Rock and Jericho.

Well, they do have Undertaker on the rest of the Raws before Wrestlemania...

Lesnar-Rock are alternating dates to spread out the star/drawing power. Lesnar, HHH, Rock, Taker, Cena will all be on the go-home show on April 1st. Rumors are Lesnar-Rock are being kept apart from each other for now until they begin building Brock-Rock for Wrestlemania 30.

What else is Lesnar doing other than WWE? Does he have something else going on or is he just chilling?

At his farm with his family. His contract allows him to only work a specific number of dates (although, I'm under the assumption that the dates not used on this contract will carry over into the next contract that kicks in after Wrestlemania 29. Doesn't make sense to sign him for 25 or so dates and only use him for 15 of those, so I think the 10 will carry over).

Family and farming. His family means the absolute world to him, read his book sometime and he explains why.

According to pwtorch.com, another reason that the Highlight Reel segment on Monday's Raw didn't go as planned was due to a technical malfunction with the Jeritron 6000 throwing off the timing of the skit.

The Jeritron was in the ring, but wasn't functioning, so the ring crew quickly unplugged an then removed it from the ring while the trailer for The Marine 3 played. Jericho then had to improvise around that to explain why the screen was gone.

The crew did try to get the screen to work, but ultimately it just ended up laying on the floor. During the trailer for Wade Barrett's movie, Jericho joked around and gave the technical guys a hard time.

Who's family doesn't to any dad worth a damn? Brock hangs out on his ranch because he hates being out in public.

The Jericho segment would have been passable if Cole wasn't in the background whining about how awful it was.

WWE has extended contract offers to Maryse and Kelly Kelly.

Maryse, I would welcome back with open arms...

Welp, strong overrun didn't come this week... ouch.

Quote:
- The Undertaker paying tribute to Paul Bearer and CM Punk interrupting opened to a 3.46 quarter.

- Big Show vs. Seth Rollins lost 9,000 viewers.

- Dolph Ziggler vs. Daniel Bryan gained 132,000 viewers.

- Fandango's segment with Tensai and Brodus Clay lost 298,000 viewers.

- The New Age Outlaws vs. Rhodes Scholars which was interrupted by Brock Lesnar gained 326,000 viewers to a 3.57 quarter. This was the peak of the show.

- Mark Henry vs. Kofi Kingston and Ryback vs. Heath Slater and the Mark Henry-Ryback face off lost 179,000 viewers.

- Antonio Cesaro vs. Alberto Del Rio lost 265,000 viewers.

- John Cena vs. The Rock video package lost 10,000 viewers.

- Sheamus/Orton vs. Rhodes Scholars gained 106,000 viewers in the 10 PM timeslot to a 3.32 quarter.

- The Highlight Reel with Wade Barrett, The Miz and Brad Maddox gained 81,000 viewers.

- Chris Jericho vs. The Miz lost 359,000 viewers.

- Jack Swagger vs. Sin Cara lost 78,000 viewers.

- CM Punk vs. Kane gained 153,000 viewers in the overrun to a 3.18 quarter. That is not a good number.
For reference: this weeks peak of the show was a 3.57 quarter while last weeks was Rock-Cena's segment with a 4.1 quarter.

Show-Rollins only losing 9,000 viewers is a good sign. That quarter usually loses a higher amount of viewers, so The Shield is definitely catching on.

Ziggler-Bryan gaining is good. Alberto Del Rio can't seem to draw on TV for the life of him. Punk-Kane is shocking to say the least.

Ever since 'The Call', I see David Otunga a lot of places promoting the movie on prominent talk shows. Wendy Williams right now, he was also on TMZ a few days ago.

Might seem like an odd reason, but I think it has to do with his entrance music. I personally hear it and lose any excitement. It doesn't matter if I find him entertaining, but I find his music lacks any sort of punch (I also think Cody Rhodes entrance has the same problem, I would have said the same about Dolph but his grew on me, to a casual viewer though it might be the same reaction. The music lacks the same punch), it just makes me feel like I'm waiting for a gimmick and turns me off. I usually stop watching.

I'm also not really a fan of his demeanor. It works as an arrogant dick, but not for a face. (He looks like he should be a gutless heel.)

As well as Maryse and Kelly Kelly, WWE has reached out to Beth Phoenix.

Why haven't they reached out to Kharma yet? Easily had one of the biggest pops as a diva in a long time... she had that aura around her that few people in the company have.

This is exactly what the problem was. I know it didn't go as planned, nor was it very good, but hearing Cole trying to hard to bury it was just weird. Drew way more attention to the fact that it wasn't going well. That was an absolutely terrible idea.

Yeah, I don't understand why that is happening. An announcer's job is to put over the talent and to hear that guy suggest that this is the worst segment in the history of Raw is counterproductive. That's the biggest thing I have always despised about Cole. He does that far too often.

- For what it's worth, WWE recently revived their trademark application for Kharma, which was abandoned in January of this year. Back in October, WWE applied to register "Big Hungry" as a trademark. It was just assigned last month.

My favorite part was when Maddox said to clear out the Jeritron and Jericho just says "its already gone" and Maddox just looked confused.

Was there a video for the Paul Bearer tribute on RAW? I missed everything as I was in Cuba.
