Nice D Jets. Especially those plays by klitsone (?) and bogosian. Looks like both our teams are trying to find their offensive game.

Not a bad period. Rangers don't look like much, IMHO. Last year's Rags team IS NOT this year's. Weak sauce.

Lousy PP but great defence and goaltending. Keep at er and get our first puck in the twine at Madison Square.

Byfuglien is very clearly playing hurt. Very tentative when the play goes along the boards.

Loved Bobby Clarke's analysis of jokinen in the pre game TSN roundtable, basically said is point total is bad for a guy averaging 17 minutes per game as is his +/-, said he either needs to get going or get rid of him.

I think with that way Wheeler plays, he needs a bigger hollow in his skates so the edges can dig into the ice better.

Buff is definitely still hurting. he just doesn't seem to have the mobility or jump he had earlier in the season.

Tort's game is already wearing the players down. This many games squeezed in such a small time is going to run them into the ground. Plus I think their slow start has doomed them.

Hard to get him going playing between Wright and Peluso.

Peluso has looked surprisingly good. Doesn't play like an absolute meathead, not an offensive guy, but isn't bad defensively.

He has been going with better talent either.

seems pretty straight forward to me. Top 3 in each division then 2 wild card teams based of overall points

But the current playoff qualification format is just like a "wild card" in that there already is inter-divisional opportunity to make the playoffs by finishing top-8.
