Haha, I'm not trying to be a downer or anything, I'm just saying let's keep it within reason here. Glad we won, should have won in regulation (what the hell was Joe thinking?), nothing to be excited about, but nothing to be too pissed about either.

Best line tonight will disappear on Thursday. The coach needs to realize its not the lines it's the style of offense they run that can change this team

I thought it was more the fault of Boyle and Burish who were playing hot potato with the puck. Neither of them was moving his legs and they were about as deep in our zone as you could get.

Exactly. Still way too many turnovers and sloppiness.

I'm pretty sure the 2nd avs goal was on Boyle and Burish.

Not really arguable on that one. They were on fire. Still not entirely sure how Shep set that goal up.

There's gotta be a reason he's a top 10 pick right? He's gotta have some talent.

Top 9 pick. Played hockey since he was 3. Plays NHL 13 whenever he's injured. He has the talent.

I dunno what playing NHL 13 has to do with his talent level.

They're 1-1 with 3 goals for / 5 goals against without Clowe in the lineup.

No they still look the same. Gomez has no business in the top 6.

There were a few moments where they looked better, but overall it was really not an inspiring performance. Sure they won, but did they play like they're out of the funk? No, they did not.

Also, Murray is so terrible and so slow.

Very well played game by the Sharks. I hope Tmac puts Wingels with Galiardi and Sheppard when he comes back. I think that can be a very good energy/scoring line.

Since EA makes such a realistic game, he learns how to score "always goals" on goalies.

Ah right, forgot about Desi. Yeah we'll see if Shep has what it takes to anchor the 3rd line.

My hockey simulator (which historically shown is no better than guessing) actually has placed this line as the best combination for the Sharks roster (if you discount Sheppard's injury). Prior to the start of this season:

Marleau-Thornton-Pavelski
Clowe-Couture-Havlat
Galiardi-Sheppard-Wingels
Gomez-Desjardins-Burish.

Boyle-Stuart
Vlasic-Burns
Braun-Demers

Simulator tries to do Boyle-Murray, Vlasic-Burns, and Demers-Stuart. Murray is manually removed.

PP matches up exactly with first-two lines; Boyle-Braun on D for first pairing, Burns-Demers for second-pairing.

PK puts Vlasic-Stuart on the first unit, and Boyle-Burns as second unit. Forwards are Desjardins-Burish and Galiardi-Wingels. Burish deemed team's best PKer, followed by Marleau, Pavelski, Thornton, and Couture.
