Have to agree. Heres a team whos struggling to score, and he takes out a guy whos got 10X the ability then Bickel has. I didnt see enough inconsistencies in Kreids game defensively to warrant it either.
This really is mismanagement. Send him down or play him. Stop ****ing with his head.
Gagne for a 4th...we should have tried to snag him. He may not be the same player as he once was, but at that price he could have been added for depth. smh

.....No he couldn't have. When the Rangers are healthy they have some decent depth with Ferreiro, Mashinter, Palmieri, Kreider, Miller.

Wanna stab your eye out again?
He's the same age as Brad Richards.
I would have definitely taken Gagne. Insurance depth.
Maybe, just maybe Torts thoughts are the Rangers aren't scary enough and after last game and lack of reaction, retaliation to the McDonaugh hit he's trying to send some sort of message. That's the only reason I can see Bickel in the lineup or that he was drunk. Dumb, dumb, dumb.

With McD out and some of the other D men banged up it isn't that bad to have Stu who can take a shift at D or on the 4th. He will also drop the gloves with just about anyone and without Asham in the lineup there isn't one ranger on the ice who can help out in that regard.
I think it is more of an insurance move but they also said 1 forward would be a game time scratch. We have seen this when Torts did that warm up with John Scott only to have him scratched at the last minute
scratching kreider in favor of stu is complete insanity. this coach is an idiot. period.
a team that cannot score scratches one of its best young talents in favor of a guy playing out of position who cannot skate and cannot score.
torts can only continue doing the same stupid stuff. he cant help it. its all he knows. more jam. more grind. more dump. more cycle. more backing up and more zero offense.

you cannot make this stuff up.
fire torts.
Is Bickel in for Kreider or is Mashinter or Miller in for Kreider? IMO, Bickel is in for Asham and Mashinter is where Rupp used to be...on the 4th line. These guys are going to get 4-8 minutes tonight. The issue is how come Kreider can't get a spot over Miller.
could there be something about Kreider we dont know about? can we honestly make all these asumptions without being in the room? playing Stu over him just doesnt add up?? if we can all see it maybe theres a problem we all dont know about?
Machinehead has something to say. The boycott is over, and I'm watching tonight. Not because of anything the Rangers did, they just made it worse. But I realized something.
These past couple of days I've been ranting and raving about how I was dissatisfied with how the Rangers responded to the McDonagh hit, feeling that they didn't have their teammate's back. I realize now that I was doing the same thing. When I chose to actively not watch Saturday's game I was abandoning an entire nation of Rangers fans whom I consider, in a sense, to be my teammates. Enough of that nonsense. I'm here, and I'll always be here. Let's go Rangers!
