Kimelman has the Canucks taking Zadorov, which would be great. Morreale has us taking Horvat, but I'd much rather have Lazar, who's just one spot after us.

EDIT: And Morreale's missing Zadorov altogether...Would probably take him over Lazar, too.

Other than ristolainen at 30, what strikes me the most is morreale having muller at 10

These guys have probably never watched the European players, I always get that feeling.

No way the sens would waste their 1st on Zach Fucale.. not that I don't think he's good.. but I highly doubt the Sens draft a goalie in the 1st round considering the goalie depth we have right now.

Yeah I thought that was weird. If any European player is gonna rise up to the top 10 from the 30-200 range it's going to be Wennberg I think.

But I SERIOUSLY doubt even that would happen.

I love how Wennberg can't even crack any of their top 30s.

I don't like saying that about salaried writers, but I think there's more than a few posters around here with more intelligent mock drafts who would post them for NHL.com for free.

Wennberg > Burakovsky, Hägg and De La Rose. Scored a highlight reel goal today too.

Question: Why is Washington picking first in those mocks? If they go in reverse order of the current league standings, then they should be picking 3rd, with Columbus 1st and Buffalo 2nd.

Maybe at the time of their mock draft, Washington was last?

Shinkurak,Pulock, and Nurse...I wouldnt be mad if Isles landed one of these....Also if Zadorov was on the board I would love him....

Shinkurak is interesting, Isles really need a guy who can put the puck in the net...He reminds me of Skinner a bit....

Also Pulock to go along with Reinhart would be crazy...

Montreal isn't going to draft Jordan because he's Pk's brother in the 1st round.

Bo Harvat is the only one I liked for the habs.

Or maybe Washington "win" the lottery in their mock.

similiar like Lindholm last year. In their final edition he was rankend 15th, 23rd and Kimelman did not even had him in the Top 30. Lindhiolm finally went 6th Overall, I guess that shows how well these guys know hockey

Interesting to see where Ristolainen will go when it all said and done. It seems he can go anywhere between 5-30.

Avs taking either Shinkaruk, Monahan or Lindholm would be pretty fantastic.

Can't believe that with the Oilers in need down the middle that Monahan didn't at least end up on one Oiler pick.

With the NHL.com picks, I only ever read Adam Kimelman. He consistently puts out solid mock drafts.
