Imagine Gagne scoring at home on his first game back. Holy **** that would be amazing. I'm sure him being back in the O&B would be greeted with a standing ovation.
Even though Sutter didn't give him much of a chance this season, sad to see him go, but guess I'm happy it's back to Philly, I'll miss him though I always liked him as a player.
Gagne only annoyed me because he was injury prone, and played soft when returning from injuries. Has nothing to do with his skills.
yeaaaa... I watched him hop off the bench every break during the 3rd period and OT of Game 4 against Boston in 2010, trying to push his foot harder, and skate faster each time before finally getting back on the ice and scoring the game winning goal in OT his first game back from injury....
What a panic move by Homer. Realistically though, this is a great move to try and fill a hole that they lost when Read went out. Hopefully this means the end of the Knuble experience. I like the guy, but he clearly doesn't have it anymore.
He was interviewed on Flyers' radio a few days ago. Was very humble and understated especially when discussion centered around his current playing ability.

Yeah. Gagne was all heart. My favorite Flyer growing up. He was my first jersey too. I remember when I got it for Christmas. It was so awesome.

That's true. During that Playoffs he was very good for us. But on the whole I remember him taking a very long time to regain his form after an injury.
