ANN ARBOR -- Michigan hockey fans roared with delight when the Wolverines won Saturday's CCHA tournament championship at Joe Louis Arena.
There to lead the cheering, skating circles around his net and pumping his arms in the air, was Wolverines junior goalie Al Montoya.
"It's just the way I play the game," said Montoya, who made 27 saves in the 4-2 victory over Ohio State. "I love to play. That was a huge win for our team. It was the first step in what we want to accomplish."
