Accepted and Confirmed.

I am excited to bring in two righties, which I am much better with and just as much mobility.

Callahan is my favorite player and will immediately get the 'C' and Ian White was one of my favorites that wore a Flames jersey in recent memory.

These guys fit in with the current core of my team (late 20s) and give me lots of depth to compete now and a few seasons from now.

I realize both Baertschi and Brodie are nice assets but I cant use them as well as I can Cally and White, who are some of my favourite players IRL and in this game!

Frk and the 1st are icing on the cake!

Wouldn't you consider Baertschi to be a franchise player for the Flames?

Yes and no.

I absolutely see the point, but dont I get to choose who I place as my Franchise Players?

I was going to make them;
Mark Giordano (85)
Mike Cammalleri (84)

And then have my choice of;
Ryan Callahan or Leland Irving

I am not exactly the best player, so I want to try to enjoy my team by using names that I like and I am better with Rightys. If this goes through, i will be thrilled with my team! I know I am going to struggle to make the playoffs by playing since I am not that great, but hopefully this depth can help my Sim record! The extra 1st can help me later too!

I realize Im not that great but I want to at least enjoy my team while sucking! I am here for the long haul so no need to worry!

I am not huge on trading, so this is most likely the only deal I make because my roster and depth is then set.

I might as well get excited when Callahan gets the puck if I know Im not going to score anyways! Haha

I need those gritty garbage goals to squeek out wins.

I dont need Baertschi's big shot because I cant hit the net anyways!

The subway ad on the end boards see more rubber than the net does for me!

I am use to losing, Its a game tho and I just want to enjoy it by using some of my favourites!

The DET CPU signed them.

Chuck has since taken over. Since the CPU signed the guys, the "no flipping" rule doesn't apply.

(That's my guess, anyway).

Detroit signed him as a CPU.

Also, yeah, I do believe that if anyone is getting Callahan in a trade, it is the Rangers.

What do the rest of the GMs think of this? Should Callahan be moved or no?

I just took over this team!

I have no idea who was originally on this roster, how they got there or what happened! But it would suck if I got stuck with some terrible CPU signings. lol The CPU makes some awful, awful offers which hamstring teams for years to come.

If there is stipulations regarding players or issues then I am sure ArGar will PM me and explain who is suppose to remain on my team and who can be moved etc!

I just looked at the "Recent Transactions" and it suggests that Detroit may have signed; Del Zotto, Callahan, Goc, Scuderi and Greene to pricey contracts but let Datsyuk walk?

Obviously a sane CPU wouldn't have let this happen, but I took no quarrel with it because I took over a Vacant Team with the udnerstanding that the CPU would have signed some ugly contracts.

So where does that leave me with Datsyuk then? Does that mean he cannot be traded anywhere but DET?

franchise players: Benn, Eriksson, and Oleksiak (prospect).

(Might be helpful if people provided a link to their block as well--so that ArGar can easily update the tables on p. 1 (if necessary).

Dats should absolutley be in Detroit. Whether Callahan gets traded away or not, Dats should be in Detroit.

I also don't thing Callahan should have to go to NYR for 2 reasons.
1. No one seemed to care when he was signed by Det cpu, they were just happy they did something.
2. No one (but the new Calgary GM) likes Callahan anyways lol. He's traded in pretty much every league I've been in multiple times.

Alright, seeing as how Santillo is putting a player he traded for last year on the block, should we institute the "no flipping" rule?

I don't think people should be making trades just to make other trades. You trade for a guy because you think he can make your team better, not to use as a bargaining chip for other assets.
