I really want him re signed. I'd be devastated if he leaves. He's one of my favorite Bruins. I just can't see him anywhere else but Boston. He loves it here. He even said he does in an interview.

Compliance Buyout Peverly AND Kelly if they have to, but Horton needs to be re-signed, guy shows up big time when it matters.

I think we're going to have to deal Kelly and Peverly if we want to keep Horton. His concussion history has to scare you though. I think Peverley is much easier to deal than Kelly. Pevs is only owed 2 yrs at 3.25m and is a better all-around player than Kelly. No need to buy him out. Someone will want him. Kelly brings defense and leadership to the table. Some young teams value that. Might be harder to move. But, I think we can deal him. He's owed 3yr/9m. Maybe, we can eat 1m per of that and save 2m. There's your Horton money.

Rested a few players last night. Didn't the 4th line play more minutes?

Being on the penalty kill. He's one of the few forwards (along with Seguin, Jagr, Thornton and Lucic) who don't get any PK shifts

Both probably need to go. Pevs because with Kelly he's redundant and Horton because of the cap.

Gotta keep in mind, the deeper they go, so does Tuukka's price tag. They win the cup and you're talking Price money.

Bigtime in the playoffs. I imagine if the B's moved him, they'd try to get him back ala Ryder, so just re-sign him.

B's save money where they can upgrade or are doubly redundant or getting older. Peverley and Kelly are obvious for forwards, no way they're worth that. I love Seids, but its between him, Boychuck and Ference. One of those have to go and maybe two. I think all guys are tradable, meaning they don't need to be bought out. I've liked all mentioned above, but with the cap, and the uninspired regular season play, along with ready replacements in the system, it could be time to start freshening things up and making sure you free up dough where its needed most.

Rask and Horton should be priorities, and maybe Khudobin for old Rask money, if he wants to be a backup. Goaltending is essential to this teams success.

Someone will shell out some series money for him. He has his ring (maybe ringS) why not go for the cash.

I wonder if Edmonton will make a play for him. He's not Lucic, but he's a similar type of player.

More than happy to eat crow here.

The last two games are the most engaged I have seen him.

If we win we will need him to be that player.

He isn't even remotely similar to Lucic.

Jagr, being a RW, cuts into Horton & Seguin's ice time with his longer shifts.

Absolutely ridiculous.

I've been back and forth on where I stood on re-signing him. MAN we don't have a lot of cash to throw around. But I don't know how one could justify letting him go. He's just... He just fits here. And when it matters most, he's among the league's best.

If Chiarelli can somehow keep our top six (Lucic, Krejci, Horton, Bergy, Seguin and Marchand) together, I can't see this team being easy to beat in the post-season for a long time.

Gotta love Nathan Horton.

Really hope the B's can keep Horton. He's the first player on this team that I really liked and made me a Bruins fan, followed shortly by Lucic. Lucic is now my favorite but being a fan for such a short time I can't imagine Bruins without Horton and Lucic together.

Can people stop it with this crap they both have value and can be traded if that is what it comes down to we are not buying out them!!!!!!!!! STOP IT!!!

BUYOUT'S are for long term contracts old players that are out of there prime, or in Philly Brierre fits the bill old player owed a ton of money.

Horton has been pretty accurate this post season.

I can definitely see Peverley being traded and I think he is going to be. I think Kelly would be harder to trade based on his NTC, contract, and lack of scoring career wise when compared to Peverley. I am all for trading Kelly if they can, but I could see Pevs traded and Kelly bought out.
