Reconciliation project? That would be what Canucks management has been doing with Pavel Bure

Reclamation would be the word he meant

Drunk typing from S3. That'll do it.

Add to the fact that he's basically got a glass jaw and one more big hit could end his career. He also makes far too much for what he can provide.

I'd rather buy him out than Ballard but both need to go. And no more Panthers reconciliation projects, please. Garrison was an exception in that he had actually played well the previous year.
Has anyone ever fully recovered from an injury

A guy could sit out six weeks because of a light bruise on his arm and people would say he's never going to be the same again.

Man, I would love Booth back for at least some of the playoffs. Barring injuries of course, we could ice a fourth line of Booth, Lappy, Kassian. But if we haven't really heard anything about his recovery, do we just assume he is done for the whole year?

So Bieksa and Tanev are DTD, or still a week (and a bit?) away from returning? I know Ballard is DTD, but the way Corrado played, put him in the lineup!

Booth would really complete this forward lineup. He would be great in a role where he's not required to score, but instead just provide supplementary scoring and throw some big hits in on the forecheck. That being said, when AV's throwing around a word like "miracle" I'm not too hopeful.

I thought I saw on Twitter awhile back that there was no real possibility of Booth coming back, even if we went deep? Either way, I don't expect Booth back with the Canucks this season.

Dress him up and trot him out on one leg if we win the cup to celebrate with his buds

Hmm only 12 games, I wouldn't have guessed. Neither that Ebbet has 26.

I still hold hope myself, If we make it to the SCF then he would probably move heaven and earth to play, so to speak...

even at 80% there is still likely others at 80% in our line up at that stage.

Could AV be throwing that 'miracle' word around just to allay any suspicion regarding Booth's injury status for LITR cap purposes?

It would be nice if Booth made great progress in his recovery early in the first round!

Doubt it...
The league checks...
Although from what I have seen...
Not too tightly.
They probably just believe the medical reports the teams sent.

Remember when we were the "only team this season to have used 6 defencemen"?

AV seemed to think there was a chance he played yesterday. I think he comes back for the last two games.

I'd rather just sit him until Game 1 to avoid any further Canuck Luck.

We know that Bieks turns it on post season, no need to worry I think.

I agree. If he really is feeling as good as he possibly can then I'd maybe let him get one game in during the regular season before the playoffs.

No timeline on Kevin Bieksa's return. First time he skated today since injury. #canucks
I personally think he plays on Saturday against Edmonton, so he has at least one game to get ready for the playoffs.

#Canucks other injured D-men not clear. Bieksa (lower body) skated on own Tuesday but indefinite. Tanev (ankle) should be close for playoffs

Why not game 1 of the finals?

Hell, why not game one of next season. That might be too soon though.

I like how Jamieson's tweet assumes Ballard will actually be allowed to play on Saturday. Honestly, knowing AV Ballard won't play another game as a Canuck.

Corrado was good. If anything this should be the defense.

Hamhuis-Garrison
Edler-Bieksa
Ballard-Tanev

Alberts>Corrado>Barker>Vandermeer

Anyways I see Bieksa/Ballard/Tanev all coming back for the playoffs. Ballard possibly later in round 1 same with Bieksa.
