IMO 7th in the West as of now sounds about right.

Good night for idle #mnwild. Coyotes and Oilers lose. Despite Wild's desire to win division, Canucks helped em out

Always remember making the playoffs is what matters, while winning the division would be nice, we don't mind giving more meaningless banners to Vancouver, they need something to cuddle up with in the night when they cry into the pillows at the continued lack of meaningful hardware.

Whatever happens, I DO NOT want to see the Ducks in the first round.

Funny, because St. Louis, LA and Chicago are the teams I don't want to see in the first round. We should've won two of the games we played against those suckers this year and I want revenge for 03 and 07, I think we can and will take them, BELIEVE!

I saw we help lay the NW division to rest by going out with a bang. An epic match up between the Wild and Nucks. Explosions!!!

Ideally with us as the #3 and them as the #6. Will they dare to show us St. Paul Luongo?

Probably not, after all, his contract sucks.

Luongo said it, not me.

Wonder if he's gonna get bought out this year. That would be hilarious.

Personally I would like to see a Wild Nucks series myself in the first round. One last rivalry hurrah before restructuring next season.

With the way we have been playing I'm scared of playing anyone not named the Red Wings or Sharks. Please god let us win the division. I can't stand watching us lose to the Ducks another time. **** the Ducks

The ducks are still the same team from last year even with Boudreu couching. Mark my words they are going to crash and burn in the playoffs.

I think the Blues are the scariest team in the West right now...even more so than the Blackhawks (call me crazy).

They have size, skill, system, stacked blueline and solid goaltending (Elliot seems to have regained his form).

Not predicting they will win the Conference, just saying that of all the teams in the West, they seem to be best built for the postseason and are starting to peak. The Kings, too.

I'd like a Minnesota-Vancouver matchup, don't want to see the Blues, Kings, Chicago, or Anaheim at all.

Vancouver or Detroit, although a Wild/Red Wings match-up would be highly unlikely based on the seedings.

I'm cool with seeing them play any team in the playoffs the way last few years have gone. Being at those games years back seems like a distant memory at this stage...

So the main board has a thread on playoff avatar themes...

...anybody want to do something similar to the Pittsburgh avatars with each user choosing a player and then alternating it with a picture of Pitbull or "Don't Stop the Party!"?

IF we make the playoffs, of course.

I see no reason why we do anything but Pitbull. He's gotten us this far right?

Did he say anything good?

I listened to him on KFAN this morning and the only "juicy" bit of "news" was his speculation that either Seto or MiG would take Cullen's place in a shootout, should it happen while he's gone.
