Guy Boucher let go in TB. I wonder if Ruff ends up there? Curious at the timing, TB is a very long shot to catch up to 8th,kinda disruptive to a team this late in the season. Unless they want to get Ruff and didn't want to risk losing him to another team.

Unless the Rangers or Devils go on a tear they still have a shot. It's like nobody from about 7th-14th in the east really wants it.

You must be thinking of the Brendan Morrow from several years ago. He is nowhere near the same player now.

If this is the Ucks finally coming crashing back down to earth, it couldn't have come at a worse time considering the teams they're playing tonight and the next 2 games.

So what's the optimum results for today's games for the Kings to succeed?

If Detroit, the Blues and Vancouver all lost we'd jump to 5th. As things stand now, St. Louis will slide below us, but Detroit will jump us both. Leaving us still in 6th.

I don't mind seeing the Ducks lose, but they just got screwed by a horrendous call. Of course in typical Ducks fashion they all lose their cool and the penalties pile on.

Perry swung his stick at it and broke while Getzlaf threw his stick down and kicked it with his skate. They looked like a bunch of pissed off midget players out there. It was pretty hilarious actually.

Nah, the changing of glass was in the ducks zone, Perry swung his stick in the red wings zone. Must have been something else.

In other words they looked an awful lot like Shane Doan and Mike Smith at the end of last year's WCF.

What do the Titanic and the Flyers have in common?

They’re both at the bottom of the Atlantic!
