And man is Orr useless on the 3rd line. He brings absolutely nothing because he can hardly skate up to the opposing third line nevermind hit or start something of any value. Keep him as a fourth liner but there is no reason for him to be wasting a premier spot on the wing next to Kadri.
Really,he had an assist - more points than the whole first line.
Let's be civil people, no one likes trolling. Habs capitalized on their chances and won as they were the better team tonight. Leafs on the other hand just didn't looked like they were ready for it. And fellow Leaf fans just don't feed the trolls. I'm sure the mod's will do the clean up job.
I caught a bit of the Marlies game tonight, he's still over handling the puck, needs to settle down and not be the whole show. That's not going to endear him to Randy if he doesn't share the puck on the big club.
No surprise to see the habs clearly avoiding any scrap with someone who can fight, Prust, being a fighter, wants to drop them with a non-fighter, but didn't look Orr, Mclaren, or even Fraser in the eyes once all night
Sure habs fans will say "why do we have to scrap if we can win?" Your answer will come later on this year, just like it does every year. Since we beat them 6-0 in their house they haven't lost, but they haven't played in physical teams during that stretch, maybe Philly, but they are still finding their way and were missing Hartnell I believe
Montreal will be brought back down to this planet by the next tough team they face.
Leafs thought out-hit was equal to out-play. Scrivens was awful.
But the biggest issue was the top line. -4 for all 3 and yet Carlyle doesn't/hasn't altered that line ONCE. Not even in-game. I just don't get it. He has no problem shifting the bottom 4 lines around but just refuses to touch the top line. It's insanely frustrating. It's not like they have great chemistry or anything, so switch it up! Put Kule-Grabo with Kessel, JVR-Bozak with McClement. Just try it, my goodness.
