Really,he had an assist - more points than the whole first line.

Leafs played badly from opening faceoff to final buzzer, sure the suspect reffing helped matters along but I think the outcome was written in stone despite the aforementioned refs.

This game had none of the intensity of previous matchups and each and every play for the first half of the game lacked execution and even mustering a shot was difficult.

I hope that after tomorrow they take the 3 days off and rest up a bit, and I also pray that Reimer, and at least Frattin make their way back into the lineup.

It's all good. Leafs leading the series 2-1. They weren't going to win every game. Let them have this. Buds are great at bounce back games, we know this!

Prust is small, but the man has heart and is a very good fighter. Phaneuf is big, but he's a poor fighter and picks his opponents.

As much as Scrivens play tonight was disheartening, I only want to see Reimer in tommorow if he is 100% ready to go.

Games like this just prove you cant build a team around this guy. Has one of the worst two way games in the league, and wont even take a hit to make a play.

Habs elite? We beat them twice before, one time we dominated worse than we did in the early 2000's playoffs Vs Ottawa.

They beat us once, and we're chop liver and they are atop of the world.

Let's be civil people, no one likes trolling. Habs capitalized on their chances and won as they were the better team tonight. Leafs on the other hand just didn't looked like they were ready for it. And fellow Leaf fans just don't feed the trolls. I'm sure the mod's will do the clean up job.

Refs and Habs: 5 Leafs: 2

No surprise to see the habs clearly avoiding any scrap with someone who can fight, Prust, being a fighter, wants to drop them with a non-fighter, but didn't look Orr, Mclaren, or even Fraser in the eyes once all night

Sure habs fans will say "why do we have to scrap if we can win?" Your answer will come later on this year, just like it does every year. Since we beat them 6-0 in their house they haven't lost, but they haven't played in physical teams during that stretch, maybe Philly, but they are still finding their way and were missing Hartnell I believe

Montreal will be brought back down to this planet by the next tough team they face.

They can't avoid the big boys forever.

We played so badly today and the fact that it was to the Smurfs... I hope Leafs can atleast make it seem like they're trying tomorrow

Maybe if we cry and whine after a bad loss then we will go on a winning streak and lead the conference too!

Remember the Habs board last game? haha. They already had Mackinnon penciled in with Galchenyuk.

GO LEAFS.

1 LOSS. Bounce back. WOOO

Why should Phaneuf fight a plug? Having him on the ice for 5 more mins is worth a million times more than a fight against a piece of **** like Prust.
