No matter how many times he's told this, he simply ignores it and grinds the same tired illogical ax. Grigorenko will one day be pretty good. You know this, I know this, most know this.

Poor officiating. It should have been 2 minutes for tripping (or interference) on Fleishman (tripping Pominville) before Kopecky ran into Weber.

Svehla year on year. He came near a guy and he would get credited with a hit.

It's over 30 for both teams combined in what is one really tame game.

That's, yo. I got a giant smile when they called both. It gave me great hope for this years cup being won by the best team.

Bryan Allen and Keith Ballard aren;t finesse defensemen

Jason Garrison didn't "lead the league" with 100ish hits?

I wouldn't be surprised if they give Hodgson a hit on the scoresheet for popping Vanek there.

And right after that one of the Sabres could have been called for interference on the backcheck (before the Weber penalty). I guess at that point it's a matter of who had the puck and when the whistle would be blown

Am I sniffing glue again, or was Hodgson on the ice for that second GA? They have Hecht-Porter-Stafford as the line on the ice in the NHL game summary.

Yup, just poor counting. Guaranteed McCabe had more/better hits.

Gerbe's agility is off the charts tonight.

It was his mis-play that lead to the goal. Odd. Ehrhuff?

Ha. I swear it was VHP on the ice for that one. I'll go back and watch it again at intermission.
