To be fair to the Wings, though... that was an impressive penalty kill by them, as well.

They were actually that bad in the playoffs 'before' the SCF

Just like we somehow overcame our hideous PK to get to the Finals, they overcame their hideous PP to get there. Then their PP got cranked up against us of course.

Kings finally score on a 5 on 3. Can't expect to take that many 5 on 3s and kill them off.

Wasn't that an elbow by Penner? Feels like the refs owns Detroit one, or it's just that I am allergic to Kings and basically anyone in their jersey.

Didn't they have to put a Marty sing-song up on their video screens to get the crowd to even do it? Every crowd in hockey knows how to sing-song the greatest ever, but Kings fans needed to be told.

I might be alone but I say screw that. I actually don't mind the Kings and dislike Detroit much more actually. I mean can they like EVER miss the playoffs just once???? I think my first year of really getting into and watching hockey is the last year they missed. Even the Lakers and Yankees have missed the playoffs in the last decade.

Could he of sold that any more? Jesus, and he was actually high sticked too, but it was like he was slow shot. I thought the refs were going to start calling this crap this year?

Anyone notice how much interference and **** was going uncalled against LA last night? It's just like Boston. If they do it all night on every shift, the refs don't do anything about it. One of the LA dmen climbed at Datsyuk towards the end of the game and the refs let it go.

Yeah, I immediately thought of that play, it was unbelievable. Worthless refs, absolutely disgusting. I think he had both his arms over Datsyuk's shoulders.
