Yeah this is the wrong time for them to be playing the Rangers as far as my vested interest in rooting for them. I do kind of want Buffalo to lose the next five in a row...but at least we get our own shot at them again soon enough.

"Very unselfish play."

Desharnais & a pick in the 22-25 range in the 2013 draft

vs.

Brandon Sutter & a pick in the 12-15 range in the 2013 draft

Which would you rather have in a dynasty league? Categories are G, A, Pts, PIM, +/-, PowerPlayPts, and GWG.

Impressed how Montreal has turned it around so quickly. did not expect this from them this season. They seem pretty solid as a team.

Plus better management and a good goaltender.

Last year was a snow ball year for them where they got off to a bad start and management compounded things causing it to go off the rail (firing Martin and then giving his replacement no backing because of the cultural issues). The year prior they had some injuries in the season putting them 6th. They also had Boston dead to rights in the playoffs with a PP inOT in Game 7 before they lost.

Perhaps some will agree and some will think I am crazy but of the two coaches, I'd pick Therrien over Deboer.

1-0 Sabres. Lundy beat on a shot off the faceoff.

Pretty much, injuries were a big problem last year as well on top of the stuff you mentioned

The problem with Therrien is he is a coach that won't last long somewhere because his style of being a hardass gets old quicker rather than later with a team

Tortorella and Hitchcock are similar in that regard

I wanted therrien when lemaire stepped down after coming to the rescue as a miracleman. I get frustrated with Pete a fair amount but the guy took a 6 seed to the finals last year, a lot of which had to.do with his coaching. And therrien has really gotten away from.that hard ass approach much like hitch has. Great hire by MTL for sure.

I used to hate PK but I am.a big fan now. Seeing how interactive and high spirited he was when Malcolm was drafted (despite the rivalry between Boston and Montreal) plus how down to earth he was during the lockout he's grown big.time on me.

Yeah I guess although I've always been a fan of Therrien more than Hitchcock (who I'm not a fan of to say the least)

Chara is a dumbass, takes himself off the ice for 17 minutes instead of challenging Emelin like a man
