... the Habs?

We should really take this thing to overtime, just to put more pressure on Montreal.

By the way, I have to say that Boston is an awesome place to visit. Probably my favourite destination in the States.

Are Fenway Franks as good as everyone says they are?

Yeah, the 4 cow hooves per batch instead of 3 throws the whole taste off.

Keep your foot on the gas, Bruins!

Boston Bruins ‏@NHLBruins
Rask off first at morning skate, so we'll expect him to start tonight vs Sens...^CS

Boston Bruins ‏@NHLBruins
Sens in high spirits as they wrap up their morning skate before facing the B's. 3 goalies on but Lehner first off^CS

What is the Bruins' achilles heel (if there is one). If you were writing the 'keys to the game' for the Sens, what aspect of the Bruins game would they have to exploit ?

I won't begin to list the Sens weaknesses....I'd be writing them until the Post Game Thread.

The only thing I can think of is their power play, but recently they have been doing ok, I think 3 for the last 6 or something like that, other then that not too much.

Our Achilles heel is our PP. If you have good PKERS, and if memory serves, Condra and crew are pretty good, you might even get a shorthanded goal. The other thing that no one talks about is our lack of defensive speed. Julien was able to compensate for it the last few years with his system and simple breakouts but as Chara, Seidenberg and Ference age they do not get back so fast anymore.

The most obvious is the anemic power play. For an offense that's 6th best with almost 3 goals per game, they're 27th with the man advantage...so foul early and often.

The Bruins have become Hack-a-Shaq!

I keed. Not about the power play but the hack-a-Shaq.

Otherwise, if I'm picking nits, the third defensive pairing of McQuaid and Ference has had some noteable defensive lapses (probably more at Ference's hands than McQuaid). They've been on ice for some really ugly goals and I think most here, even though we're talking about a third pairing, expect those two to be a bit more solid defensively than they have been.

if Maclean can get the pairing of the 4th line with Ference and Quaider icing the puck he should get his 1st line (or whoever is hot) out on the ice for the offensive zone faceoff asap. That group has been BRUTAL in our own end lately, which is why Seidenburg has been with Quaider and Ference with Boychuk lately. But that's the weak link combo you should be looking for.

Nevem mind what anyone says about our PP. Totally irrelevant.

Crappy PP (obvious) but according to some fans here, we are soft now, have no offence, our 3rd line is terrible, our 4th line isn't good either and Tuukka apparently hasn't proven himself either. So...lots to choose from.

Hoping for a typical Senators domination, only with Rask in net.

When you put it like that lol. I could do photoshop stuff but I have to plan everything well in advance since it takes a good 8+ hours to produce.

Yeah.

Wait, what??

In all seriousness, all the GDT's we've had are pretty good. Regina's are interactive, Aly's have tons of relevant game-day information and everyone's put forth some really good ice-level photos and videos. I'm just a image geek who's informationally challenged who knows way too much about Internet memes.

True.

1st game back after a trip isn't usually pretty.

Ottawa is beating all odds with their current play despite all the key injuries. Kudos to them. But reality should check in eventually. Right? Hopefully it's tonight.

Go Bruins!
