It's the only move they know is a hard around and majority of the time it's unsuccessful, then we get hemmed in or a point shot and Screivens flubs a rebound. The islanders are terrible so I don't see a issue today.
They'll arguably have the two most dangerous players on the ice tonight on their team. I see issues.

Grabo really looked like he was playing his hated Canadiens when he took that penalty shot last night.

Islanders are 0-10-0 when they score 2 goals or less. Oh boy.

Well, that means they don't win when they score just 1 goal. Why is this so surprising?

Even we do pretty bad when score less than 3 goals, actually.

It's REIMTIME

I will be surprised with a win tbh. The team looked tired last night.

Gonna expect the worst and hope for the best.

GO LEAFS GO!!!!!!!

Leafs have been up and down in the last week and thensome, which sucks because there was an excellent chance to distance themselves from the teams fighting for a playoff spot

But with Reimer back, Frattin on the horizon, Gardiner ready to come back up .. The Leafs have fared pretty well considering they lost some impact pieces in the line up, doing more than just treading water in the playoff hunt by staying a handful of points above the pack

Hopefully as they get healthier, they can push further and win more of those important games .. Dropping games against Ottawa and Montreal in regulation sting, but aren't the end of the season for them

I'd put this out tonight.

The AHL d-men are killing Phaneuf on the top pair.

Gunnarsson albeit shaky, he's had success with Dion before.

Gunnarsson-Phaneuf
Liles-Kostka
Fraser-Franson.

If he doesn't sit Holzer or Kostka (even Gunnarsson) after last nights showing, that whole "entitlement" thing is BS.

edit: They're not the reason we lost - it was a team loss.

I'd rather have an injured Frattin than Orr playing with Kadri.

Is he back?

Will he be back Monday at least?

Yep, and the team is bound to have some cold stretches. Can't expect more than a 10 game hot stretch in any season.

What should be noted is that we lost two close games (Habs one was close till the end) to two good teams. Sens are without their 3 top players, but they are playing good hockey.

As long as we can stop going into long slumps (5 L in 7G kind of thing), we will be fine.

Reimer is sporting a brace on knee.

They say on TSN that he might have it for months. Not sure if he'd be 100% with that brace.

There been no indication at all that Frattin is ready to go. Could still be a week or more.

Im curious how many athletes wear braces? Rielly wears one already, and he hasnt even set foot in the NHL.
