Giving up a 4th round pick (sure to be top-100) for Mike Brown is some piss-poor asset management by the Oilers.
Can't wait to see what they do with Magnus Paajarvi after this season. He's actually been a decent producer at ES considering the lack of ice-time he's been getting, but I doubt Tambo even knows what that means.

Trades like this show Tambo clearly has no idea what he's doing. Better players than Brown have cleared waivers in the past month.

He'll have to change his name to Lifercanucker with how much time he spends on this board. Maybe a classic Harold Snepsts would fit him better.

The gift that keeps on giving.
And you know they'll scapegoat Tambo at the end of this season.
But as long as the Old Boys Network, with Lowe being the great Oz, we can continue to enjoy watching them ruin prospects and disgrace their franchise. No small wonder that Edmonton fans are feeling and feeding the anger.
Speaking of the Brown to Edmonton deal, Bobby Mac says the 4th is conditional, but moves up to a third rounder in 2014 if the Coilers make the playoffs this year. Marvelous asset management by a team in our division. Watching their fans try to rationalize this deal has been truly comical.
Remember when a bunch of Canucks fans wanted to claim him?
For the same reason that PIT claimed him. He's a young player that has produced at every other level. Don't be surprised if somebody else claims him (although I think Carolina get first dibs?).

sounds like a montreal pickup they can use his size. actually if i was Florida i would pick him up since he can turn up to be their Grabner. Boychuk is fast like Raymond.
Who, ironically, was taught how to coach by none other than our very own bench boss, who said once that he "taught him everything I knew".
" After stumbling out to a 5–13–2 record, the Montreal Canadiens fired their head coach Alain Vigneault and hired rookie Michel Therrien. The Canadiens went 23–27–13 under Michel and missed the playoffs."
Kurtniz on fire with Crosby 12 goals now......great chemistry it seems......if only if we can have the same with Kesler and XXX winger
The pucks has to move from Kesler to the other player or from the other player to Kesler for them to have chemistry. So we'd better get a passing winger.

well Schroeder would be good winger but he suited for center more and Kesler to the wing......either way it works

Someone like Alex Tanguay?
Never liked the guy much since he's played for our division rivals for the majority of his career though.
Crosby is the best player on the planet, no two-ways about it.

I'd be pretty surprised if Carolina didn't claim him again since they can send him back down to the AHL.
