From the Mock Draft board. I see fans from other teams voting for players for other teams which is BS. I know its just for fun, but we're next and it'll be nice to see how it turns out. Ottawa picks before us and i think they took Matt Lashoff. For Toronto, im going with Slava Trukhno or Brian Lee. Havent decided yet. Do vote...

Martin Hanzal, Denis Istomin, Slava Trukhno are some guys who should be of interest.

Who is this Brendan Mikkelson guy who is rated #13 as a North American skater, according to the Central Scouting Service? He is rated higher than quite a few of the guys already picked...

I'd go with one of...

James Neal
Andrew Cogliano
Teemu Laakso
Patrick Davis

Or one of those European snipers... Hanzal, etc...

Zoolander.

I think we should draft him strictly so we can say that if he does get hot.

I really like Bourret for us, too bad Carolina got him 9th.

He's a shorter guy, with good size to him nonetheless. Sounds like Tucker all over again (although more weight than Tucker).

Given that we have Robbie Earl...are there any players that could be great compliments to him? From what I hear Robbie has blazing speed, maybe get a RWer of the same skill set? At the very least it'd provide a fantastic AHL line whenever Earl/the pick got there, and could translate into some nice offensive hockey for us.

I agree.

We're solid on defense and in net, JFJ should draft a bunch of offensively capable forwards in the next draft.

I think too many people see prospects as either black or white, in other words, "special" or "crap".

I change my picks. I think we should draft someone from Newfoundland.
