Hi leafs fans. Going to say i have been wrong about Kadri, you guys have a gem. Was wondering about Komarov. How has he played and will he be long term player for you?

Yep, and it hasn't worked in damn near two years, now. People thought Kulemin putting up numbers in the KHL playing with Malkin meant he was gonna turn last season into a distant memory. He is exactly as bad right now as he was last year.

It also gives us time to bask in the glory that is Nazem Kadri.
Why does he deserve the time. If anything scrivens has outplayed him while hurt and he shud be getting the majority of future starts until he falters.

Yesterday they deserved all the flack they got.

Today they really did have a legitimate excuse (flight delay in as well).

Next one, no excuses.

C'mon Randy, gotta try to get that confidence in them again.
If this is what a slump for the Leafs looks like this year, I am 100000000% ok with that.

thank you, Kadri.
Team defense hasn't been good in a few games. This little break couldn't come at a better time; some practice and some rest and re-set for NJ.

Yeah we've really gotta tighten up defensively and start playing a puck possession game.

Also, Liles/Komisarek should paly in for Kostka/Holzer/Gunnarsson. They've been bad lately. AHLers playing like AHLers, IMO.

Hopefully the Leafs can maximize their losing streaks to 1-2 games a piece and thankfully this didn't turn out to be our 3rd loss in a row

I haven't been able to watch the last few games outside of tonight, but I am hoping Kessel can go back to his early season form. Toonight he looked soft and uninterested. He needs to get a step back in his game. I don't care if he doesn't score he just needs to put up some pressure.

Time to make some changes with the days off.

Get Gardiner up here, send down one or two of the AHL dmen, and pray the goaltenders stabilize.

Definitely. The Defense as a whole has not been great in a while.

Scrivens and reimer were playing lights out to save our *****, when they came down to earth, GAA increased.

Carlyle needs to get the team playing like they were on their win streak, and hes got 3 days to do it.

haha yea man, I'm waiting for my monthly scouting bonus from the Leafs

But in all seriousness, this guy is a trail blazer. He is the first Arab player to play at such a high level in the NHL. People who never paid attention to the game of hockey are now becoming fans of the game and fans of the Leafs because of Kadri. Myself, and many like us are living vicariously through Nazem, and he is inspiring kids to now take up the game. My little brother who is 6 years old is now picking up a hockey stick and playing around the house because of Kadri.

He is to hockey what Ichiro was to baseball when he broke on the scene.

Kadri steered the 18 wheeler away from the cliff!

These guys better get their heads out of their *****. Specifically Kessel. I hate to rag on the guy but what the hell is he doing out there?

Liles HAS to play next game. Gardiner should be up soon. We gave the AHLers some ice time, some experience, but time to get these NHLer caliber players back into the lineup. Fraser can stay as the bottom pairing guy.

Can you post a few more negative, useless things. This place is far to happy after a win, we can't be having that.

Yours Truly,
