Clutterbuck
Cullen
for
Boyle
3rd rounder

Rangers can use Cullen and Clutterbuck on the 3rd line and the Wild can use Boyle to replace Clutterbuck while Cullen is a rental for a pick

From a Rangers perspective, so done.

I don't understand why the Wild would entertain anything close to this idea. It really doesn't help them in the least.

I doubt that Minnesota fans will like this offer but I'd take it as a Rangers fan, no doubt in my mind!

Would Wild fans do Boyle for Clutterbuck is what it comes down too.

Cullen for a 3rd is pretty fair I think, he's a rental.

Unless Boyle goes back to 20 goal scoring Boyle, I'd take this trade any day of the week. I really liked Cullen when he was here in NY and I love Clutterbuck.

However, there's no way in hell Minny does this.

Everyone so far everyone, but the OP, is correct. No way in hell Wild even consider this. We are right in the middle of the playoff hunt. So why would we weaken our team for Ranger benefit? The way Cully has been clicking with Setoguchi and Zucker(that is one speedy line), I wouldn't even do Cullen alone for Boyle and 3rd. As his speed, versatility, and playoff pedigree is more valuable to us.

I'm a bit surprised NYR would want Cullen again. He didn't really seem to do to well there before. I never saw him play for the blue myself, but seemed not too many tears were shed when he left.
