Bishop also did the same thing. Our goalies as a whole have been on fire -- all around.
Personally from what I've seen from Bishop AND Lehner (this YEAR). Bishop has been better. Not saying Lehner was not anything but great. But our team played better in front of Lehner than they did with Bishop VS the Habs.
Is Andy expected back? If not I assume Lehner starts next game.
Well for me it totally changes both my fantasy and betting strategy for this game, that's for sure.
I would have avoided this game with Lehner, now probably I will bet against Ottawa.
Lehner > Bishop, no question about it.
Flyers generating a lot of offense lately, huge test for Bishop.
Lehner stealing the game and landing a few punches, the next coming of Hextall, perhaps would have led to a major trade offer from the Flyers? ;-) Bishop perhaps the wisest choice in this game after all, the coaches know what they are doing.
Anyway, next season Lehner has to become at least backup otherwise I really, really wish him politely asking for a trade. Hopefully some kind of 1a / 1b situation next season (Craig Anderson being #1 as long as he keeps it up).
One of Sweden's very best goalie prospects ever not even playing? It would simply be very annoying.
