Liles or Komisarek for picks is probably the only thing that makes sense then, and that's up to the Blues to decide whether or not it's even worth it. To be fair though, Liles or Komi for picks to any team makes sense to us, so, that isn't really a Blues specific offer

This. I am pretty sure Carlyle really likes having Kulemin on his team I mean the dude is logging some nice minutes every night and is up there with McClement when it comes to defensive zone reliability. That being said I would not be against sending him in a package for Bergland.

Meh...I'll pass. Not going to give up Kulemin for one of those players.

I can't see anyway St. Louis can afford to move Berglund. He has size, he's been really starting to play better and he's one of the only natural centers on the roster. St. Louis has wingers playing center right now.

Berglund cannot be traded the Blues have no center depth. There is no chance we trade him in a deal where a winger is the best player returning a better center would have to be coming back and the Leafs really don't have one.

So no deal is to be made as we both seem to lack center depth. /thread

I could see it being possible if Armstrong really likes Liles or Komisarek better then Russell and Redden. I mean as much as I hate to say it I would prefer Liles on our 3rd pairing to Russell or Redden but his contract is pretty high for a bottom pairing guy.

But we are missing AMac, Tarasenko and Steen due to injuries. Cracknell, Porter and Dags are normally not in the lineup.

Maybe it's just Komi for a low pick...Leafs eat some salary and it could happen

I love the fact so many people say theres no trade to be made even though the two teams have scouted each other several times in the past and theres now multiple rumblings of mutual interest between the two

It seems like Blues downgrade from all these proposals with the Leafs. Just not worth it.

Armstrong has scouted basically every team in the East over the past few weeks. Reporters see another GM at a teams game even once then it is 1+1=673.

Might be something here, there might not. Just like there might have been something in the Blues-Jets (who he seen 4 times in a short period) talk a few days ago. Or the Blues-Flyers talk yesterday. Or the Blues-whoever talk tomorrow.

If STL threw in something little (Gardiner's brother?), I'd be all over this. I really like Schwartz.
