Thornton VS Rinaldo

Good scrap. Win Thornton but Zac hung in there pretty well. His first loss of the year.

Very surprised Rinaldo went with Thornton given the size difference. He did well.

Don't think the fight was necessary. Great hit by Rinaldo.

169? Jesus, I didn't realize Rinaldo was that light.

Is that accurate?

Damn. Even if he's 180, that's still 20lbs lighter than I thought.

Same, i think he's upwards to 190-195ish, they also have Simmonds at 180.

Good job, Zac Rinaldo. I have a lot respect for him fighting Shawn Thornton.

TKO, not surprising considering Rinaldo is a lightweight.

Amazing hit!!! Rinaldo held his own with Thornton until he got his right arm free then it was game over. Beauty hit though!

Saw a picture the other day. Man, what chicken legs.

Good on Rinaldo for hanging in. Probably not a fight he had a chance to win, but he knew his team needed a spark.

I agree, I dont think he had any buisness fighting Thorton, he knew it, but did so anyway. The Flyers need a legit heavy too keep other teams honest IMO. Zack is very much in the Barnaby/Avery class of agitators. Not really big enough to hang with the big guys, but such a hitting force that someone is going to have to answer, and it's usually him or Simmonds that do.
