That win represents the first full comeback in the WHL playoffs from an 0-3 start in 17 years. Impressive.

Anyone have a good read on the Oshawa Generals? Do you think they will be a stiff test for the Colts? Outside of Boone Jenner & Laughton are there any other players to watch out for?

Also, congrats to Olsen and the Kelowna Rockets for their huge come from behind win!

Was a pretty sloppy game for the Barrie IMO. Poor passing and breakouts relative to their norm.
They're also missing a two key players in Camara and O'Connor.

That said, Camara returns to the Colts tomorrow, which places Theoret back to the second line and Colts again will have one of the best top6 in the OHL.

On top of that Oshawa seems to get penalized a lot, and most of them legitimate and dumb. If they keep that up, Barrie has a really good PP that will start to take advantage.

Great news for Olsen and Kelowna. I'm guessing he'll play another year of junior next year? Would be nice to see if he could get 40 goals and be a ppg.

He is young. He should get another year.

Hopefully he can amp up his 5 on 5 scoring and maintain his nice 2-way game.

Late round gems and undrafted UFAs can really beef up a system quickly. TNSE has found a few nice late round picks, but they need to get on some UFAs.

The generals are a very well rounded team, they have a lot of big bodied athletic forwards. Guys like Lucas Lessio and Tyler Biggs are also weapons for the generals.

Sure, but haven't the Colts handled them well all year?

Yeah, their regular season series against them went 3-1.

They're not to be taken lightly however. Plus the Colts are going to be without their captain (and arguably best defenseman) for the entire series.

Yeah, but Scheifele is without Flu this series, so he's sure to be a superbeast.

Just taking a peek at all of our 2012 draft picks. Other than Sutter, they all look like they improved on the year before. Looks good....

From a post on the Propsects page on the main board. Poster watches a lot of the WHL but stated he did not see Swift Current enough to post about Adam Lowry.

Here is his review of 2 of our prospects:

#23 Lukas Sutter – Grinder [Winnipeg Jets]
Pros: Good skater. Solid frame and uses it. Great pest. Loves to hit.
Cons: Hitting leaves him out of position at times. Offensive game could be lacking.
Potential: 3rd line forward

#9 Ryan Olsen – Grinder [Winnipeg Jets]
Pros: Good frame. Always physical. Great on the forecheck. Good shot. Drives to the net. Awesome hands.
Cons: Consistency is an issue. Could be better positional in both zones.
Potential: Bottom 6 forward

I've been busy lately:

Here's a CHL last quarter + regular season review for our prospects.

Enjoy.

Feel free to answer the last 3 questions on there or here

Really nice read and great effort.

Good to see some premium prospects , some next tier ones and even some border line ones as well.

Hoping all the picks this year replinish the cupboard and we continue add an elite propsect per year , plus ones that develop and potentially can contribute on the Jets future roster.

Thanks! means a lot

And if the Jets avg 1 high-end prospect and 1-2 regular roster players a draft, they would quickly move to one of the better drafting teams in the league.
So far, so good and seems plausible!

With all the draft picks this year, it would be nice to bump that draft production up and stock the franchise with a few more legitimate prospects.

If it's a four game sweep, how many games would he be out against the Bulls(in all probability)- 4 games?

Here's another one from the same guy:

#10 Zachary Yuen Two-Way Defenseman [Winnipeg Jets]
Pros: Good skater. Always makes the smart play. Plays both ends of the ice. Plays every situation.
Cons: Could be more physical. Offensive potential might be limited.
Potential: 3-5 spot TWD
