Yes, the low shot total for Nashville speaks "volumes" about the sharks defensive effort. Because the Predators certainly aren't one of the worst offensive teams in the NHL so far this season. Right?

Yeah, but they make it sound like we're shutting down the freaking Blackhawks.

Nashville averages 24.4 shots per game. So the Sharks would hold them to 18 shots at their current pace. Or basically they just stopped 2 shots per period.

It's good that they're playing defensive hockey and succeeding, but the level of success is relative. I mostly have issues with Brodie's use of the word "volumes"
