No insult to Schoeder but Raymond is a better player, as a winger or a center. He has been physical as well. He is so good at creating space. Canucks playing very well. How are the Kings considered a tough team? Big feisty but tough. They know how to play but the have never been more physical then Vancouver. It is a myth. Kopitar, Penner, Carter are big Richards Williams Stoll Doughty are feisty. Head to head the canucks usually outhit them.
What good is hitting when you can cycle the puck with impunity along the wall?
Where are you getting that stat? He certainly doesn't look like he is generating many chances. The fact that he his line has generated more chances than the other two lines isn't exactly a great thing considering how little offense is being generated outside of the top line. Moreover, Kesler hasn't played much this year and when he has played he has been injured. For the most part, his competition for offensive minutes this year has been between Lapierre, Maholtra, an injured Kesler, and Burrows for a bit.
He makes good passes from time to time, but you can almost count the amount of scoring chances he has on one hand. IIRC he has struggled against the better teams as of late. The Blues and Hawks games come to mind.
Tiranis did a count the last 3-4 games. I remember them from the GDTs.
Splitting up that 2nd line has been just about one of the dumbest things AV has done. And that's saying something.
