Měl jsem návrh na jednocestnou smlouvu, za docela dost peněz. Petrohrad ale byl schopen nabídnout ještě víc.
Salak is not even close to NHL level. Why did he get one way NHL offer?

Tornberg is a big loss for Torpedo and a huge gain for Lev.

I know CSKA is negotiating with 1-2 Finns, don't know their names though...

Antipov and Traktor part ways...I guess it's about time, he's up there in years and still wants big money.

KHL is still a joke, even with all the improvements every year

During the season half of the teams change their coaches, at the end of a season teams chance up to half of their rosters- CKA, Traktor leading ones in this category.

I think it has to do mainly with the managers/owners and the way the russians are- impatient.

I read here on board most russian khl fans dont agree with the FHR influence on the league, when actually i think its the only thing that still keeps it together before Medvedev makes it a complete circus.
Tretiak said something about decreasing limit of foreigners after Sochi. That will be a big improvement. KHL should work for the russian hockey development and not expansion in some useless, lower talent countries.
Imagine KHL being 70-80% of what NHL is (talentwise etc) and having 85%+ russian players. Now thats an accomplishment. Half of olympic team and best still playing in NHL.
Problem was Medvedev and his 5 years plan where he overtakes NHL. At least another 5 years to get to that 70-80% mentioned above.

Because some NHL teams are stupid. And I didn't say he's not even close to the NHL level, I said he stunk in the AHL - it's a fact which can't be disputed.

For example, fella who couldn't even skate in the KHL anymore was signed by an NHL team which shall remained unnamed to play in the top-6 role this season.

Now try to convince me again that Chelyabinsk doesn't have money issues. Who would gut cup final team like voluntarily?

Traktor Moscow?

Seriously, if Kuzya does end up at Dynamo (and signing with Dynamo)

These recent moves if true could totally ruin the fine tuned machine that is Moscow Dynamo, maybe next year we will see a different Cup winner.

... then most likely he will follow Ovechkin's steps (Dynamo Moscow -> Washington Capitals)

Not so many officially proved transfers happened today, so I find no need to post the whole list (last one can be found at the previous page), just the recap. All these transfers will be bold till the next update:
Leaving:
d Janne Niskala from Dinamo Mn

Moving:
f Martin Thörnberg from Torpedo to Lev
f Marek Bartanus from Vitkovice to Slovan
f Tom Wandell from Dallas Stars to Spartak

And I pretty love press services of Ak Bars and Avangard. Newsfeeds are shouting about Morozov, Zaripov and Lassila - and no word about it on the official sites. Traktor's one as well, but they at least have written who has signed a new contract with the club.

Do you know how clubs work? They can not publish info before it is official. I am suprised native Russian is not aware of it. Zaripov/Morozov did not sign. Lassila is another story. On the other hand, yes, some clubs are not ideal.

I know the rule, and sorry - I thought Zaripov/Morozov have already signed.
