Caps get more chances for than against with Wolski on the ice. He's doing what they ask him to do, his line just has a poor sh%.
(and, regardless, scratching Wolski for Volpatti screws up the balance of the lineup even worse than it already was... too many bottom 6-ers)

I have to disagree, I think the Wolski-MP85-Ward line was the best line we had last game and I understand they have different roles but Crabb hasn't been stellar to say the least and we don't need him and Volpatti both to play.

I'm not saying I agree with the decision, I just understand why. I'd prefer Crabb to sit out.

Woski is a scoring LW. yeah try not to laugh. Its bad.
It IS a position of weakness. I would sit Crabb after adding a 4th liner.
Moar grinders.
In before Oates plays Volpatti at 1LW.

That's what we get when we continually sign bargin basement players to a supposibly playoff contender. Crabb, Hillen and Wolski truly awesome offseason signings by GMGM

They would be great signings if we weren't short 3 or so actual top 6 players. We'd be one of the deepest teams in the league.

Volpatti is the new Milan Lucic. That's McPhee's logic.
Hendricks too.. Why is he on the first line.

This is what the board and this GDT has been reduced to, we're debating over who sucks less, Wolski or Crabb.

If a Caps player did that hit like the one against Backstrom, the refs would of called it boarding.

Agreed, i like him a lot more.
With Green being injured again, and Carlson playing well on PP1, i'm definitely more in favor of getting rid of Mike...
