So happy about this lol

Brown brings absolutely nothing to the table. He takes stupid penalties, isn't a sherif on the ice... he really serves no purpose with players like Orr and MacLaren on the team, yet he managed to find himself in the lineup far too often.

Victim of numbers, really liked what Brown brought, good speed for a 4th liner. Can't be mad at a Orr-Mcclement-Mclaren line they way they've played i guess

I guess they needed roster space for Frattin. Assume he's back tonight.

I thought he was going to be waived.

Good luck to him in Edmonton. Too bad we couldn't have got Ryan Jones back.

The right player to move, and nice that we actually got something in return.

Happy for Brown, he wouldn't turn down a dance with anyone -- going to miss those handlebars.

Glad that he's playing in the West

Loved browner. People can say what they want but he always gave 110% and played with more heart than most.

EDIT: This must open a slot for Frattin to be in tonights linuep. Welcome back

I'll miss him.

Heart and soul guy - great in the room, gave his all despite being a very limited player.

Good relationship with the fans, but ultimately a guy that is replaceable/expendable.

I bet he saw the writing on the wall too - the last few games he's seemed extra insistent on trying to pick fights with just about everyone to try and hold his spot in Toronto.

I wish him well - gave everything for this team.

Fourth liner who gives it 100% each shift...will fight pretty often.

Unreal... guess the emergence of McLaren and Orr made him expendable, but that is one guy who gave 110% every night and is a great character. It will be interesting to see how the lockerroom is affected by his departure.

Wish it wasn't to the Oilers...
